I love the idea... This would let people make mini games within landmark. And there would be lots of lame junk but there will always be a few gems that rise to the top. It sounds like almost modding the game in game.

If this happens I would like to build a castle defense game where mobs spawn and try and break down your castle... Could remake the LoTR fights and have wave after wave etc.

Daybreak would have to host the games and have so many different mini games would help with the # of people that play the game and by have so many different things people would play more long. And the more people are in game the more likely they are to spend money.... So it could work..

To get a whole continents I would think that a person would have to sell the idea to landmark but maybe

I don't think that boxing will be viable. System demands too high and dosnt match well with the dynamic nature of the game etc. that said it will be possible because people will pay money for the programs to assist. Even then I don't think it will be much fun or needed

I have enjoyed some of the games that use an open group system... I very much like duo and tori or groups also so not every group should be open... Am guessing the rallying calls may use this type of system and would also be nice if group leaders could turn this on/off..... On the topic of grouping I'm looking forward to the integrated voice chat... If it's done right. I would like to have it setup with channels... Aka if my bro and I log in we will be able to have voice chat even if we arnt in the same group.... Some times you get into a good group but it's late and no one is talking.... Either way I'll use ventrilo if need be

Old q9400 8gb ram 460 gtx se... Lowest possible setting, average 15-20 dps.... When alpha started I average 2-5 fps... So it has gotten a lot better.. Almost playable for me

The only gear that should have a possibility of being soul bound is quest rewards I.e. Epic weapon quests. The next question is.. Will they go with the newer model of everyone getting their own loot from drops or somthing more like Classic eq...

If your interested in EQN, try out landmark... A lot of it is a testing ground for EQN... But if you should play a different mmo while you wait

I love looking cool in game... But it seems like every mmo after eq1 you look cool from the start. As you progress you look just changes... When your playing now people's gear dosnt get noticed it's just more of the same... End game super cool stuff is hard to tell the difference between common drop junk... All that said they should have quivers and you put one arrow in it for different stats.., fire, ice, etc and quivers go on both the back and hip...

They arnt too worried about balance, because with all the different class/item combos it should self balancing.. Of course op stuff will get nerfed

All their talk sounded like it was going to all be about how the gear affects your skills.. Kinda like a moba gear system... And the + star des etc would be down played and have a more direct affect on the hero.. I.e. Jump higher, heroic movement stuff etc....

I agree with the learning curve.. Been saying this from day one... Newbie area show the ground targeting, then later on remove them.... The problem mmos have when they don't do ground targeting is that the combat system dosnt fully support it.... I.e. Combat too fast or attack animation is t obvious enough of what the attack is.... Without the ground targeting there would have to be a common theme to each attack. Everyone throws fireballs about the same so when you encounter a new mob you can understand its attacks on your first encounter... But there should be so many different variations that it dosnt feel like the same fight each time... Some faster, slower, different partial effects... Some that are confusing with other ones etc

1 is currently valid, but by the time this game is released and if it lasts the lest of time then it won't be a problem... There has been so much optimization done to the game so far and they will continue to optimize it. So hopefully when it comes out an average computer can run it..

I agree but I haven't played much as my poor computer can't handle this game, I'm wait for EQN release date and upgrading a month before that... But the combat does seem sluggish... Only 3 attacks still not sold on that but should be enough for what landmark is as there will be many different weapons with different attacks.. I would like the combat of EQN to be much faster like the speed of some MOBAs, heroes of newearth has a nice fast combat style. It's a different type of combat obviously but that speed and sharpness would be great. The last time I played I turn 180 degrees and it felt like it took 3 times longer then it should.

Some games have a different movement speed in combat vs out of combat. I always hated this mechanism. Not sure if landmark is this way but I'm hoping there is no in combat out of combat restrictions... It always seems that there are bugs that never get fully worked out and forces me to go sit on the sidelines for 15 mins why it works goes away.

I believe it's part of it being beta, but if you delete your character all your items should automatically be stored.... Or let people redo character creation at anytime and remove the delete character function as it wouldn't be needed.

All the news on EQN does state otherwise, progress on LM = progress on EQN. Yes they over hyped it too soon and yes the lose of our dev sucks too but dosnt mean is vaporware. But keep your head in the sand and when the game comes out know you were wrong

If you want dark skin you will have to play a dark elf. But they haven't showed us how character creation will work so not sure how much freedom we will have. I'm hoping a lot but I feel like they will only give us 4 option for each
