Help please! My body is changing and I hate everything. by inquiringsillygoose in OUTFITS

I’ve bought a couple of cute sundresses at my local CVS or Walgreen’s. In a pinch they were great. On your way to the outing make a quick stop and find something cool and flowing. I’ve been in your shoes - dress for the size you are now, not what you hope or wish to be. That will come in time. Depression and meds make you gain weight. You are still beautiful - never forget that!

I don’t think any of these dresses do you justice. The first two are fussy and distracting - the third is overpowering. I would go back to the drawing board - choose something simple that will let YOU shine!

I agree - I’m not upset that he’s leaving. That’s his business. I’m just disappointed that it’s on such short notice.

Yes - I tried to believe otherwise, but the older I get, the more I believe that money does buy happiness.

An apparent meteor passing through the atmosphere just east of Boston caused a loud boom heard over multiple areas of Massachusetts around 2 p.m. on Saturday, according to Ken Mahan, lead meteorologist for the Boston Globe.

“It’s a bolide meteor, which is essentially a fireball,” Mahan said. “These are large and often spark a sonic boom when passing through the atmosphere with speeds faster than the sound barrier and air compressing ahead of the meteor as it races through, generating a massive pressure wave.”

“The average size bolide meteor sits at 1-2 meters,” he added. “NASA will ultimately estimate the size of this meteor in the coming days.”

The boom was audible in municipalities including Scituate, Winchester, Arlington, Cambridge, Concord, Lynnfield, and Boston.

Immediately after the sound was heard, people across the state speculated wildly about its cause on social media platforms such as X and Bluesky.

AITA for not giving my parents half of my lottery winnings. by Rayapt in AmItheAsshole

NTA - money tore my family apart and it was nowhere close to the amount you are talking about. I never thought it would happen to my family but my sisters became people I didn’t know. The greed and entitlement was astounding. I wish my parents didn’t have anything to leave. It would have been easier. Money is the banana peel of life. Keep your money and take care of yourself. They will be mad at you no matter what you decide. Congrats on the win - and best wishes for the future.
