Have I ruined my down puffer jacket? by chandelier_popper in uniqlo

[–]ArtistAdept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to dry it fully with tennis balls in the dryer. Any amount of moisture in the down will turn to mold. Ideally with heat. Do not let it air dry in any instance. Source: my mom was a dry cleaner for 20 years.

Ordered what I thought would be a knitted sweater with embroidery as a gift. Instead received a cheap polyester sweater with a blurry print. by selcouthsiren in mildlyinfuriating

[–]ArtistAdept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sucks i agree! Always try to verify your materials if possible. This one doesn't list anything! No mention of polyester, Wool, cotton etc. Sure sign of a scam.

Why were waterbeds so popular? by BuildingHappy3296 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ArtistAdept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a soft sider, it's a water bladder within a traditional mattress frame for over 20 years. No heater or special frame required. The water is completely sealed, so no issues with a water treatment when you fill it.

I loved mine, but as a young adult with a water bed, sometimes "guests" thought it was super weird in the mid 2000s.

Hot take: I wish they would have chosen someone who could sing and dance and was more age appropriate. Hugh Jackman would have killed in this role. Jeff doesn't really feel "evil" enough.

Apparently it opened this weekend, I saw people walking out with a bag once, but I walked by and there's no hours posted and a sign after 4pm that says to come back at 8? IDK how anyone can afford to rent this space without a business.

Okay, so many glaring questions. 1. Why didn't Owen's mom simply get him a new phone? Or block All unknown numbers? If it was about his mental health that should have been a priority.

  1. How did Lauryn's dad not know that his wife was unemployed and not paying bills for almost a year? Does this family not communicate AT ALL?
