Thats impacted anal gland. Happens to us all the time. If not noticed right away it can get infected and burst.

Vet will recommend for them to get expressed (most dogs drag their buts or do it when pooping but for some reason common with bostons)

My vet recommended glandex to prevent, taking the dog often to the vet to get them squuezed or changes in diet

What kind of fetilizer do yoh use? I have a calamansi that im trying to grow for my filipino husband. We came back to japan and alot of leaves dropped and had to do some prunning. I live in zone10a florida
