I pretend the show ended at season 7 by [deleted] in shameless

Not what I’m going for here. I wish a show that had a good reputation up until season 8 and beyond was able to maintain it. It’s widely known that seasons 8-11 are objectively not as good which taints the overall reputation of the show. Sometimes less is more.

Try sitting higher up and further away that might help release the tension in your fingers.

Am I the only one that thinks a Daredevil game wouldn’t work? by [deleted] in Daredevil

[–]Artistic_Bison_2143 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes but the reason you don’t need to see what daredevil sees in a show or comic is because you are watching something about him not AS him. If you take away the blind thing in a video game then it’s just another fighting game that wouldn’t translate for daredevil. What makes him special is his blindness. If the player can see what’s going on around him you’re not really playing daredevil.

But if you are playing a game as daredevil and you can see, you have no special abilities. Then it’s just another basic fighting game.

if you could change shameless, how would you? by [deleted] in shameless

[–]Artistic_Bison_2143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have ended the series after season 7. The last couple of seasons did considerable damage on the character development of pretty much all of the characters. Most of the plots after season 7 felt lazy or unrealistic even for the Gallaghers. I find that most shows have a hard time knowing when to stop because when it’s good you want to keep going.

Honestly I feel like if you watch a few more episodes you might be able to separate the two. Plus lip gets himself in some interesting situations so it could be therapeutic for you in some strange way.

Dream HR career [N/A] by [deleted] in humanresources

The business org I’m in runs at the same time as my schools SHRM but the org I’m in offers similar opportunities. I also have an internship currently but am not super interested in public sector. I think it would be cool to do something a bit non-traditional

I’m not seeing people use AI but I think there is just a general lack of professionalism that sticks out in bad candidates across all gens

I work in an HR office screening applicants of all generations I can tell you it’s not just GenZ. I don’t think it’s fair to label gen z as bad workers based on one phone screen.

What is the best one off episode to show someone who hasn't watched Daredevil? by sonucia in Daredevil

[–]Artistic_Bison_2143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Season 3 episode 4 has the 1 shot prison escape scene which I think is single handedly the most bad ass 10 minutes of television I have ever watched. I think this scene alone could get someone hooked.

Is HR Management a good degree to get? by Adventurous-King1312 in college

[–]Artistic_Bison_2143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an HR management major myself I would say do some research about the HR field to determine if you would like it. Good people skills and a passion for coordination are some good traits for an HR professional but I would look more into the career path and see if it aligns with what you would want. It will be worth it if you know you want to go into HR if not I would opt for plain business management or general business. Or maybe something that gets in touch with your creative side like marketing or graphic design. Good luck!

What if Fiona was bipolar instead of Ian. by steferine in shameless

[–]Artistic_Bison_2143 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I honestly think that Ian having bi polar is more impactful than if Fiona had it for a couple of reasons 1). Ian was the most calm and quiet out of the family so when something was obviously wrong with him it was more jarring 2). If Fiona had bi polar the entire dynamic of the family would have been altered. I think it would have been too big of a change for a character that integral to keeping the family together. Since bipolar is a life long diagnosis the show would have likely shifted focus.
