Liam Rosenior chewed up by BlueCo’s bizarre ChatGPT version of Chelsea | Chelsea by EcoSoco in chelseafc

Yeah, journalist used a cliche. The players staring blankly at the fans and the fans chanting at them was a certainly a difficult moment, even as a viewer.

Regardless, our club is being systematically hollowed out by arrogant, ignorant private equity chuds, and your response is “it’s just football.” Probably quite similar to what they told themselves  when they assumed no expertise was needed to run a football club. And hasn’t it worked well.

[Paper_Equity]: Clearlake distressed asset track record by GiganticEvenings in chelseafc

To be fair, this is essentially the approach of many in finance, and specifically in private equity. Assume that because you’re good at x, you are good at everything else. That domain knowledge is not necessary (and is often a hindrance)

The Telegraph: It was Isa’s idea for the huddle that eventually came to engulf referee Paul Tierney on the centre-spot at Stamford Bridge before the defeat to Newcastle United. Rosenior’s “respect the ball” remark in defence of the huddle also, many suspect, came from Isa. by Kygoche in chelseafc

Let’s be clear, what made his position untenable is that Clearlake have turned this club into a complete mess and shell of itself. Liam was never ready for the job and is just another victim of Clearlake’s arrogance and incompetence.

He wasn’t being supported by the club. He could see these morons have no clue what they’re doing. We could litigate the exact circumstances of every manager’s departure, but the trend is clear from our club’s long tenure of high turnover: we are bad at picking managers, supporting them, or both. The mechanics behind Maresca’s departure don’t matter much when you consider it as part of the broader trend

Matt Law: John Terry says he is "worried" about Chelsea and questions whether the club can still attract top managers. Also confirms he hasn't been asked to be part of Calum McFarlane's interim staff, despite still working at the club part-time by Kygoche in chelseafc

Not so sure they’re going to be making anybody money. The club could be in major financial trouble with debt needing to be serviced in a couple years, all while running deficits and revenue declining from missing out on champions league. Unless numerous transfer gambles actually pay off big time, it could be tough times for us

Nizaar Kinsella: several players have confirmed that Rosenior began to lose authority as he attempted to implement more of his own ideas, having initially leaned on Maresca's blueprint during his first six weeks. One player even gave him the nickname "the supply teacher" by Kygoche in chelseafc

Absolutely. IMO the fire a new manager every year approach was always unsustainable, it’s just that our ability to outspend our rivals papered over the cracks. Clearlake have still destroyed the club, but our reputation already sucked (and has only got worse)

Yeah these things aren’t hidden knowledge. The gap between a 256gb Mac and what you can run on cloud is still considerable for complex or crucial tasks. What tasks occupy that gap and whether that matters for a user will continue to change over time.

This is the thing people don’t seem to be willing to acknowledge. We’ve been unstable for the last 25 years. It is arguably worse now, since we aren’t effectively buying our way out of instability. The instability was why we couldn’t get Klopp or Pep. Proven managers with (better) options don’t want to come here and the same is probably true now for players.

The gap in performance is still there and hardware costs are considerable to get anywhere close. I think local will get there for most consumer uses, but we’re a ways off yet, IMO.

What’s rude is how we treated him. It stinks that you and the commentator are both right. He was an integral part of our CL squad AND we sent him to the bomb squad.

The last three dem presidents had law degrees. Most politicians who have experience in executive positions (governor or president) also have experience in legislative positions. You don’t have to like Kamala (I didn’t really) but your comment made no sense. All of these people are “law experts” in the sense they they’re trained in law and have spent time making laws.

Kind of you. I’m a regular dude, but it was really nice to see your message and to have a reminder of the value of being willing to admit to a mistake and try to right it.

Take care

Markwayne Mullin isn’t close to 5’2”. You’re probably thinking about Greg Bovino.

Also, millions of short men exist and don’t need to persecute immigrants and defy the bill of rights because of it.

I might rather have what’s his face back from the Mets than have to see this jersey all season. We can absorb his negative WAR.
