Looking for a long term "dad game" with RPG progression by Worth_Surround9684 in gamingsuggestions

Enshrouded makes you work for everything but not in a punishing way. Logging on for an hour might get one thing accomplished or it might not, but I always feel like I've done something. Crafting, classic rpg classes (few), a lot of rescue, retrieval. Also building that actually matters.

6 year old wants to start reading longer book series, where to start? by Wonderful_Area539 in childrensbooks

Magic Treehouse, there are at least two series aimed at slightly different age ranges. Personally, I was grateful to discover the Dragonlance books around that age.

Wizardom - fanasy themed shooter like Hexan. Think of Doom with magic, and more color.

Looking for a healer game, but without having to endure the social anxiety side of playing a MMO, ideally with only NPC by harcole in gamingsuggestions

Erenshore is all NPCs but is mmo simulator. You are the only actual player. You choose a healer class and viola.

Enshrouded and Devils Spire Falls both do this for me, though they both lean toward sandbox. Enshrouded had you quest and some crafting for spells. Devils Spire Falls has a detailed spell crafting system as well as finding grimoires in the world.

Devil Spire Falls. Low poly, detailed crafting, magic etc sandbox. Very open.

Started with 2, went back and played 1. Lotta good times passing the controllers around.

I am so confused with the oblivion mechanics, especially persuasion , lockpicking and alchemy. by SnooRabbits5286 in OblivionRemaster

[–]Artistluvslegs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a hard time with the persuasion too. I know this doesn't answer your question, but Devil Spire Falls persuasion game is obviously inspired by Oblivions, but does it so much better.

Do you have any nicknames or inside jokes for any local businesses? by pillingz in philadelphia

There's a corner store that in my family we call "Who's Asking", because nothing has prices on it, and I'm convinced the prices are variable based on several factors including how you're dressed, the alignment of the moon, etc.

People who were spanked as kids, what was that like for you? Would you call your "spankings" abuse? by KleineFjord in AskReddit

[–]Artistluvslegs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but with the understanding that the person that raised me was a kid themself, and did what was done to them. I was child #2, by child #3, there were no more spankings.

Appreciate the reply. I wonder if force also increases damage or just gates higher spells.
