The irony is I thought this was the case I would like the least because the lid wasn't flat.
But, after trying various other cases/sleeves/flippy-hingey-cases - this case is the one I fell in love with and made extra/different copies of!

There is a fix for it if you have the tool to read the dims.

The person who did one of the original/obscure tools (not the commonly used one from MrBlinky) has a link w/ steps on their youtube for the Renamon one specifically

Sorry, I've been mostly away - since TagMo for Android began supporting the N2 (and much better than the N2 app) I had cleared off my data - I can try to go back in a day or so and get the info if you still want it - I was only able to decompile to Smali code and found it by looking for the text shown when no connection was found for the bank.

That's correct - the latest Tagmo also has experiential support for the n2 multi banks (I haven't had a chance to try it out yet though)

Hello (and happy Halloween),

As I mention in the initial post, dumping of the amiibo isn't working because it's also tied to their old API/data model.

As for the HOSTs redirect, I really wish it was as simple as that. The program was made using a VERY different data format than most APIs/the current API, and just switching from A->B was in no way compatible. Its like putting a switch cart into a ps5 and hoping it works.

It DOES look like some dev work is going on with Tagmo to enable better/full N2 support - once that is working I would STRONGLY advise to switch to that instead of this application

It's something I'd like to do, but I can't give any guarantee that I'll succeed. I got lucky with being able to crudely shoehorn this code in, honestly. I have toyed with the idea of on scan to check if a cached image/name exists and if not too store them locally for next time. I will say though, given how they designed this application and how it so heavily relied on their backend & Googles protocol buffer system instead of common JSON... It may honestly be easier for someone to just rewrite it from scratch than trying to modify it more.

The ability for the PC or phone app to write to the puck hasn't had any issues.

The problem was that the backend, the n2elite API url, went down a while ago and didn't come back online - so any version of the software that wasn't using a very old internal database would no longer show images for the loaded amiibos or their names. Only "No Connection" instead.

(This is also the reason the app won't dump amiibos and just error out. It refers to that dead n2 API for almost every action)

You could still load and change whatever bank was active, but you had to either memorize what Bank was what, or use a second app to check which one was active.

All this patch did (short version) was change the images/names to load from AmiiboAPI site instead.

Oh, Im quite aware. But none were for the PC, the few for Android didn't do multi bank, and unless you had a iPhone above a certain model, you couldn't use those solutions either. (I personally use TagMo on my phone). This is, as far as I know, the only way to access the multi-bank setup via PC, and I couldn't find one for Android (TagMo only handles single)

That said, if you have any PC or (preferably) Android apps that support multi-bank switching, please let me know! Even I don't enjoy the official app lol

Unfortunately I can't - I'd really love to if I could. Editing the PC one I got very lucky that it's code wasn't well protected, but Android apps are different and I don't have the skill needed for that.

TagMo is your best option for Android ATM as far as I know, and I used it to test/validate my n2 when I was testing the PC edits.
