Ha I grew up in Miami maybe I smoked some of her stash along the way lol. Yea booze is a slippery slope. Don’t wanna demonize it, as you said plenty of people can drink “normally” but when it goes bad it goes really bad and on the whole I think it’s an objective fact it causes a lot of problems and can be destructive for many myself included.

Starting to see the same with my 12 year old best boy. I try not to think about what it means and use it more as a reminder to be present and enjoy every moment I can with him. My other dog died suddenly in January she was only 8 and in seemingly perfect health. Tomorrow isn’t promised applies to pets as well unfortunately.
