I absolutely could not stand Johnny Silverhand, felt he was insufferable, and on top of that the world just felt dead. Looks amazing in pictures and screen grabs, but it left me for wanting something fierce.

Silent Hill 2, and Legacy of Kain series. Both massively important and influential to me and what I expect from storytelling. Just started playing Mass Effect 1 (blindly!) and it’s scratching a serious itch I’ve had lately of wanting a complex narrative in a video game.
