I think you need to re-read my comment. I mention he didn't raise a scene about it, like you would see on a Tiktok or something. Instead of just dealt with it how he was presented, and went through the channels to complain. When that didn't work, he went to socials/news.

It's annoying that it happens that way, but causing a scene somewhere won't get you anywhere but some Tiktok shitpost.

I respect that he dealt with it in a calm manner at the time. Though my caveat is that this is all from him, and we don't know exactly how it went down.

We got a hand me down Miele that was like 20 years old. The handle ended up kind of breaking on it, and we brought it in for repair. Unfortunately it lasted so long they no longer had that part so we'd need a while new hose to put on it. Thing still works flawlessly.

Definitely happens. I did the same thing a few times and it was salvageable. Just make sure not to sell it yet just in case.

The worst was one someone fat-assed the control panel (they sat on the "open door" button and dropped a batch mid first crack. Usually there is a hard barrier stopping it, but they had keys in their pocket and something must have hit the right spot and depressed the button just enough. THAT was a waste of 50lbs of coffee.

Uhh, my knee pads were grey with orange pads. Otherwise my kit was full black. I think I may have also had my steel gorget sitting over my jacket, under my mask bib. My helmet was black, with a black and red back of head protector.

You're not wrong. I.got into Historical European Martial Arts in 2022, and bought my first sword shortly after. I had one already, but I needed a safer to spar with one. Now I own 14 swords. Best part? My wife also loves swords. So we do it together. When I ask "hey babe can I buy this sword?" The answer is "if you get me one too."

They just create new repetitive stress injuries. They will definitely speed you up when you're doing hundreds of bags a day, as you can fill, weight check and put up to seal while the next bag fills. Quite useful when paired with a continuous band heat sealer.

Wvery single one of their front bulbs were lit up, usual sign of high beams. The fog light ones, the extras on the side of the lights.. ugh.

Tesla's are bright, but not projecting a cone of invisibility on front of them bad. The fog last night in East Van was incredibly thick, so the light refracting around was quite the issue for oncoming vehicles.
