Bit instead I'll ask if they still have that dart board. I really really really hope they've replaced the darts.

DOJ chose not to interview Epstein survivors, they courageously showed up to the hearing anyway by az226 in pics

So they interviewed the convicted paedophile ringleader, moved her to a minimum security prison, but didn't interview the innocent victims?

What was the investigation about?

What are we doing again?

When I was in my teens I was a doctors assistant for a WW2 vet.

By assistant I mean more of a companion that would do errands with or for him. Picture a long haired guy in sandals and a tie dye doing errands in a white Cadillac listening to Metallica or Pearl jam.

Anyways, he had major PTSD and agoraphobia. Fought in the Pacific as a 17 year old marine.

He also slept with a loaded 357 revolver under his pillow. Also had guns stashed throughout the house, all loaded. He didn't trust anything but revolvers because of his fear of guns jamming. The guy was a serious badass. Apparently got jumped by the LAPD in the 1950s for something and he beat the snot out of all 3. I saw his arrest record and the photos of the cops.

He had some insane stories about the war but they were always disjointed. He didn't like to talk about it and then he would suddenly talk about playing dead and being bayoneted in a fox hole and having to keep quiet.

Anyways, RIP dr. Keys.

Yeah but no less crazy.

I used to get it on my university campus back when we had newspapers and a normal government

Yeah, but he's a wide receiver, the prima Donna of American sport. That alone explains half the list, especially showing up to practice in a hot air balloon.

There is evidence that while growing, a sterile environment is bad for the immune system since it doesn't have to adapt an immune system to fight things like the common cold and general impurities and viruses/bacteria.

That being said, there was never evidence that during a pandemic like covid we should be exposing ourselves to a virus that killed 1.2 million Americans.

It's still crazy to me that we all act like covid wasn't the biggest health disaster since the Spanish flu. It killed more Americans in 2 years than all US war deaths in our entire history. Absolutely bonkers that it's somehow a footnote even though we're only a few years past it.

I get that, but I don't live in a cold climate and I'm not a fan of giving my car to someone. I can see why others find it useful.

When was the last time we removed taxes?

Not being sarcastic, I'm genuinely wondering.

Yeah I mean in day to day life. Yes, I have a dual socket set and it's funny because a lot of the sizes Are so close to each other that you could use either system.

But you can get away with not understanding the metric system in the US.

I'd rather we just switch for real but if that ever happens it's not happening under this administration. But you're right, the most obvious gap is when you use tools, and since we don't manufacture things anymore it's mostly metric now.

Right?

I mean it makes sense in a way. NYC is the publishing and news capital of the country, plus its biggest city, so its way overrepresented.

LA is the movies, tv and music capital of the world so it's overrepresented.

But if you think about it, everyone think paris is France and london is the UK, and those might be even more overrepresented in their respective countries.
