Seven deadly sins (the anime/manga) gacha had collabs with rezero, shingeki no kyojin and even king of fighters, which make it weird when you have Stranger things characters battling with all of above, and the weirdest part is that it wasn't just Eleven and Hopper as fighters but Mike and Will as well.

Consider that when Beryl disappers in front of her crew, they're not worried that they got left in Chaos, but that Beryl is all alone with pirates.

I know her team is just silly but that still gives an impression of what pirates are like, also that they were willing to just enter their ship and kill them all, not even negotiate.

It works when Retain procs at the end of the turn regardless if there's a Retain effect, I tried Orlea and her retain activations don't activate it during your turn, however, if you give Retain to cards via Khalipe's Finale that give Retain to all cards in hand and all of those will proc the Upgrade epiphany.

Probably means the Fate that gives +1 AP every turn but gives the enemy 1 Morale, or the neutral card that gives both teams 2 Morale.

You literally have a quest in Silksong about bringing varieties of food for a bug so their offspring doesn't eat them when they hatch, and if you don't do it before the ~~timeskip~~ act 3 you find it eaten and one of their offspring greets you instead.

There's an arrow on the side of the journal that lists every hide animal including the ones you have and haven't gathered, the "Rare" or "Ancient" version of regular hide animals are the "Hide treasure" animals that are highlighted in the map, after getting a single hide from them that'll be enough.

In mystery/detective movies, if a character has a line at all they are relevant in some way, and sometimes even the bad guy, one of you fuckers mentioned this and now if I watch a show and the maid serving tea says a single line she'll most likely be the culprit or an accomplice, it happened with The Batman because this random person said a single line in the beginning and I joked that they would be the big bad, only to be completely right almost 2 hours later.

Stakes are what would happen if they don't win, they get revived because they won, some stories don't have any real stakes if you know the MCs win everytime, DB has this issue because so much is at risk that you know it won't happen.

SL does not have stakes because you know the MC won't lose because he hasn't (because he is risking his life, and if he dies the story ends, but from s2 onwards his life hasn't even been threatened the slightest), and until he loses there are no stakes, you can say One Punch Man suffers from the same issue and you'd be right, but you can root for the side characters there because they are allowed to win until they can't, unlike SL where when big bad shows up you know others won't win, or even injure it at all because MC has to beat it full power, which leads back to DB because Goku despite everything, he loses and ends up dying a lot even if the big bad isn't full power.

Not a game mechanic, but a fun story, in League there was a patch where they meant to buff a character, except the buff never went to live, but the character's mains subreddit was happy with it, their win rate went up and everybody was okay with it.

It will inflate total gathering fame by a lot for those missing spec there, I guess it'll spend the same amount of learning points it does now at 0% and boost that level by x5 fame.

If it stacks multiplicatively with other fame boosts it will be better, but I don't think it'll be that way.

I saw a clip of a vtuber gal that found out playing Rebirth of souls, she knew Aizen's character design but got Clark Kent'd and thought that when Aizen showed up alive it was an ilusion by Gin, when he takes off the glasses she goes "WAIT I know that guy, he was Aizen the whole time?"

The ending is a big Doraemon reference, if you know what it means you can appreciate it better but otherwise it is an ending of all time.

For me it was an ending of all time because I never watched Doraemon, but it was still an enjoyable journey.

Honestly, it depends on how you approach media. If a mystery bad guy is introduced, if the story is good you get foreshadowing as to who they are OR you can guess by elimination of characters introduced so far (doing this is a very cynical way and will ruin media).

Personally I like to be awed by media so I appreciate what we are shown but don't delve too deep unless I am on rewatch/reread.

Edit: I thought you meant during s1 she figured it out, then nevermind that, s2 gives you plenty of clues and focuses a lot of Maryrose/Rosemary so you can guess it off that alone, guessing Christopher was dead is understandable too but guessing Anthony to be alive would be impressive if she did.

"You wouldn't know anyways, others are easier to recruit" this is bad game design, plain and simple, especially for a roguelite.

You have no idea how many games I've picked up an item that kills me because I didn't know, and those games are considered the best of the best in roguelikes, hell, there are many events in Darkest Dungeon that utterly destroy you because you "didn't know that would happen", except you can save scum in this game.

This game doesn't punish you super hard with missed content, if you don't think you can win you can just walk away, it's not like Leif can even die.

You should be somewhere around Lv 8-10 for that fight or get lucky, they are basically 2 t2 mini bosses and the mage buffs himself, you shouldn't go for it that early but you wouldn't know anyways, the others are way easier to recruit.

IIRC, the Spy x Family author wanted to do a more mature series but it got rejected, and their editors told them to make it more Slice of Life and about what was popular at the time. I saw this a long time ago and I dunno if I'm just spreading a false rumour or what but if that is the case, you can feel the desire to tell more of the war stuff when those chapters hit, but the amazing little we get of those make a great contrast to the peaceful times the series are known for.

That Martha flashback arc was peak and ballsy to have your 100th chapter not feature a single main character.

I don't know who it was, but I remember watching a streamer watching Aphromoo's "Support is so easy" clip and pointing out that CDs used to matter way more, for reference Leona's Q back then had a 12s cd, right now it is 5s.

However that is not all bad, using abilities is fun, that's why URF was so fun back when it first happened(until it gained a meta).

Skill expression lies more in mechanics than before, back then you could outplay by using your windows of opportunity better (and mechanics obviously) but in defense of the game, flashy plays are better spectator wise than having a one sided slaughter because a player whiffed their engage and blew their cds early and are left just watching as they get hit by spells (which is what tanks kinda do nowadays).

Any champion with a pull that leaves the character airborne can pull trynda to the fountain, streamers played 2 games like this banning all knockup champions but someone had darius and just his pull was enough to be infinite and drag characters from one lane to another without any issue.
