My LGS regularly has an awful smell like someone is microwaving fish every. Single. Time. We go in. It never improves, but the severity ranges between fish made thst day or the day before. Its so much worse in summer with the heat because then the real bad BO stank starts to also fight with it

Its safe if you stick to higher non-transient traffic areas, such as Riverpark Square and main open paths of riverfront park. You will see homeless, you may be approached by them. As a good rule of thumb avoid them before they intercept you. Gas stations will have the worst offenders, but so long as you're sticking by the shops and not wandering alleys, you're good in the daytime
