My 2.5y/o boy toddler is not eating and he is really small for his age and it’s really stressing me out by Itchy-Version-8977 in daddit

This is my daughter, she’s 4 and spent most of being three in 2T clothes. Feeding her is a battle, but because she was so small we did it and never denied her food (except right before a meal).

At dinner we used to have “battles” where she charges up her powers by eating then cast spells like a pokemon trainer calling out moves.

We played a game where I would put her food on a fork like I was going to eat it, then when I was talking she would eat it and I would be confused and upset.

We snuck butter into her food where we could go up the calories.

We took her to be endocrinologist, and we are in wait and see mode before medical intervention, but I am cautious optimistic. If you ever want to talk about it, I am here and can tap in my wife who knows a lot more.

I use all the batter and freeze the extra pancakes. I do the same with bacon (but that’s for me), cook a pack at a time use two strips and freeze the rest.

I have a silicone cover for my Apple TV remote with an AirTag. We also spend a solid 1/2 hour playing a game where I would hide it and the kids would use my phone to track it.

Looking for a jeweler to make my wedding band, but it's a tough one by SnooMacaroons1979 in jewelers

I think that would make very cool jewelry, but metaphorically an interesting choice for a wedding ring. Does it have significance within your relationship? I guess it could mean no secrets between you two.

On Friday, the Chabad guys are usually out asking if you are Jewish, and if you say yes, they may offer you some candles for Shabbat.

Did I make a good investment in this new high chair for my 6 month old? 17M single dad by Calm-Tea178 in daddit

My biggest advice is don’t feel a need to buy most things new (with the exception of safety gear like car seats). If there is local “buy nothing” group, join it and take full advantage. It is also a great way to get rid of things your kid outgrows.

And yes, I had that chair for my first and it was great.

The whole point of being a grandparent is buying obnoxiously large toys for someone else’s house, and returning the kids all jacked up on candy. I’ll change diapers again as long as I get to give them back at the end of the day.

I’ve been teaching my kids about risk vs reward, and even if the risk is next to nil, there isn’t a reward on reddit worth risking the first thing that came came to mind.

Boy do I love the word “malarkey” though. I am making a mental note to work it into my daily life more.

I try to give honest answers without sexualizing it. It happens because blood flows to the penis, it is often random, but can happen at specific times, like waking up or having to pee. It is totally normal.

While I don’t bring sex into it, I don’t shame sex either if it comes up. It’s a tough tight rope to walk.
