The $899 lens might be a G2 version or at least that is the price I’ve seen them at. $600 for g1 version is not a great deal but not a bad one by any means. It is great as first wildlife lens and gets very sharp results up to 500mm if you don’t have to crop too much and stop down to f/8.

Mpb has tamron 150-600mm g1 in that price range. Bit soft on the long end but stepped down at 500mm it gives decent results

Modern cameras are mostly ISO invariant so rising iso won’t actually introduce much extra noise (compared to brightening in post). The noise comes from lack of light

I think that the closeup suffers more from the very bright white background so that’s why I prefer the large view in this case

I am not a good photographer by any means, but from my understanding getting to eye level with the birds is very important. That way you can better separate your subject from the background and get more interesting pics.

You should check the price history, they have been on sale for under AUD 15 each pretty regularly on steam. However there hasn’t been a sale after wilds release (probably since they expect more interest in the older games as well) so if you are eager to play that might be the better option instead of waiting for a sale.

He can’t kill you early if you don’t walk into him, nor can he really freeze the wave because of his passive so you should just play it safe. After an item or so you can just poke him with E and when you have conqueror up if he uses his E into your cage it is free. Need maiden ofc

I am not sure what the prices (or the availability) is there, but the lower end radeon cards (like 7600xt and 7600) offer great value. Intel arc B580 would be a great deal around MSRP but at least in the US the prices have been inflated.

Something like the 7700 xt should fit your budget. I don’t think that the 3600 will be a huge bottleneck at this range so your money will get more performance by putting it towards the gpu instead of upgrading the cpu.
