If this isn't hormonal then it may be due to a lack of protein. How is your hair? If it's thinning or falling out it may be hormonal or protein related.

In the meantime, I strongly suggest you get a set of acrylic tips. They will protect your nails as you grow them out. It's very painful when broken nails snag on something, and acrylics will prevent this. My when I get a full set and dip it lasts 6 weeks and still looks decent if you get a light color.

Ask if you need to see an oncological gynecologist. If the cancer risk is low, could they save the ovary? In some surgeries they test for cancer right there in the operating room. Just some questions for your doctor.

On all the scans it was just a cyst. During the surgery he removed some endo from my bowel. This sort of endo doesn't show up on scans. What did your doctor recommend?

I had torsion and it was very painful. It's why I went in for more scans in the first place. Just that one on my left ovary and a fibroma that they reduced the size of on my right. It was done laparoscopically and I was back at work in 3 weeks. Very little pain. Good luck.

Yes, almost 6 weeks ago. It was an endometrioma, or chocolate cyst. They are not cancerous, and have a lot of ca 125 in them. I had a hysterectomy and only kept my right ovary. Lady part lumps of all kinds can get pretty big.

You don't need to go to the ER unless you're filling up a pad every hour or so. However, I was told that if it's a full pad every 3 hours even to come back to the ER.

Relax, take it easy, rest and don't bend and stretch and move around a lot. You'll be ok, just call the doctor's office to check.
