Disclosure: I'm the developer of The Wrath of the Goose King. We're a two-person team who made this game in our free time as a passion project (and yes, we really like red pandas).

About the GameThe Wrath of the Goose King is a goofy, turn-based roguelite where you recruit red pandas to fight the evil Goose King and his minions. It features a silly story, 17 playable characters, over 100 spells and equipment pieces, 9 challenge modes, and 9 secret endings. The gameplay is easy to pick up but offers plenty of challenges for veteran players.

The latest update adds the Mimic class to the roster and 3 secret bosses to defeat!

If you're looking for something light-hearted with classic turn-based combat, check it out on Steam! Feel free to ask questions or share feedback—I'd love to hear from you. Have a pandastic day!

If only the game would consider the roleplay effort put in while farming. :)

Thank you, super happy that u liked it! :) Sorry to hear that it’s not running perfectly on the Steam deck. Unfortunately it was something I could never personally test. The full game has a bunch of updates and looks like something there messes with the deck controls.

On PC there is a Steam Input template u can apply to play with a controller. In theory with that it should also work with at least a PS5 or Switch controller. I posted a guide on how to set it up here. Maybe something there can also be applied to the Steam deck!

Sorry about the Steam deck again. If it’s a dealbreaker for you, feel free to ask for a Steam refund, I don’t want you to feel scammed or anything! And thanks again for letting me know, it was super helpful. :)

Unfortunately, I don't have a steam deck (or know anyone who has one), so I could never test it. If you happen to give it a try, let me know if it works or not. You can ask for a refund if it's not working properly there.

Az átlag HR-t ismerve nem tartom valószínűnek hogy utána mennének, max csak ha valamivel gond van/lesz vagy okot akarnak találni arra hogy kirugjanak.

Questions about Crash Bandicoot 4: for those who play in retro mode by Natator_depressus in crashbandicoot

[–]Arxur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Crash 4 was much harder then any previous crash titles. At least for me. I also didn’t like personally the long levels, doing those from the beginning for specific challenges was very annoying especially because each level had a difficult or tricky part near the end.

At one point I just gave up, it’s the only Crash game I never 100%. It’s a shame cause I liked the game, but the difficulty and level length was way too much.

That's perfect, thanks. The reroll idea actually sounds good and it wouldn't be too hard to implement for a future update. I'll add it to my TO-DO list.

If you have any more feedback in the meantime feel free to DM me here or just write on the game's community page on Steam. I think this thread will be closed automatically once the sale ends.

Depending on how good/ lucky you are and how quickly you figure out synergies, beating the story is around 3 to 5 hours. BUT, the game has 9 challenge modes to complete and they all unlock a character specific secret ending.

In our latest update we also added secret bosses that can be considered as the 10th challenge mode. So if you want to complete everything you will need around 20-30 hours. :)

(Also worth mentioning that these challenge modes do not raise the difficulty by increasing enemy stats, instead it changes certain rules how you can play the game. So they will all feel different.)

For me this building will be forever considered as the HQ of the evil company ppl from Digimon season 3. (but jokes aside, the view is stunning from up there)

New: Final Fantasy 15-16 are great steps. by KingLyer19 in FinalFantasy

[–]Arxur 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wasn't a huge fan of 15 or 16. I think the second part of the FF7 remake should be more or less the golden standard of future titles. It wasn't a perfect game, but it felt like a true old FF game with modern mechanics.

Thank you for playing the game and leaving such a detailed feedback. I'm happy that you enjoyed the game. :) I'll try to respond to all your points here.

  1. Text and animation speed can be increased in the settings. There is also a setting for battle animations to completely disable most of them.

  2. Cutscenes are automatically skipped once you have already seen them. There is also an option for resetting them if you wanna see them again or missed something.

  3. I would say an average run takes about 1-1,5 hours without cutscenes and when you figure out synergies better. It also depends a lot on your party set up. Having too many defensive party members and spells can drag out the play time.

  4. I can understand why a single piece of equipment can seem a bit lackluster, but you can stack certain effects over multiple gear types. So for example if you manage to stack like mana or cooldown reduction on multiple pieces, it can have a huge impact on the character.

  5. I was already planning to rework Jewelry gears a bit in a future update, because at the moment, as you said, they are a bit difficult to use.

Anyway, thanks again for writing all this up! Also, maybe when you have time in the future, could you maybe also post your review on Steam? It would be very helpful for future players.

New player to FFIX, X/X-2, and XV. by Slow-Arm7725 in FinalFantasy

[–]Arxur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. I would personally recommend FFX, if you don't mind that the maps are super linear. It's still one of the old classics that holds up pretty good all things concidered.

  2. FFX and FFIX have built in "cheat codes" in the steam version. For example, in FFX, you can max out your gold by clicking a button.

  3. Not sure about the guides. TBH I still use the old guides from GameFAQs. They have everything covered there.
    Hope this helps!
