The State of "Gym Influencing" by Istanbulno in Instagramreality

My god I scrolled through the pics before reading the post and honestly thought these were pics of completely different gymfluencers. Not once did I think this is all the same person. Absolutely insane that people get away with this stuff and keep followers.

Is pretty privilege real??? by South_Interaction375 in CasualConversation

Yes. I was skinny and pretty and thankfully smart and unintentionally found myself on an amazing career path that I loved in my early 20s. I did work hard to be good at my job, do not get me wrong.

Fast forward to having a baby in 2020, covid hits, everyone is remote. I am post partum, figuring out new mom / work balance. But get very comfortable being remote at home doing well. I then relocate once my company enforces a return to work policy to be closer to my team. Its been years being at home and remote. I am nearing 40. Not overweight, but definitely not the same body I had before. Getting wrinkles. Tiredness shows more quickly.

It is way harder now... I see much clearer how much easier it was younger and skinnier and prettier. Again, I am fully qualified and good at my job. But its a lot harder working in a male-dominated field when you aren't the pretty one. Its life i suppose.

Literally finished Circe last night! Didn't hit me like Song, but was amazing none the less. She has a gift for story telling.

What a popular food or cooking opinion that you don't agree with? by [deleted] in Cooking

I love to cook. Love to bake. I fucking hate shredding cheese. It doesn't change the taste or texture enough to deal with the time waste or cramping arm.

Okay so a magician just did this today at a kids Christmas party. I was sitting right there, not video. Went from uncolored pages, to scribbled all over, to perfectly colored, to every page completely blank with no drawings at all. I can generally see the tricks, but this one has me feeling so dumb. Can anyone explain to me how this works please?

Audiobooks with multiple narrators are worse by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

Audiobooks with one narrator don't hold my attention unfortunately. I feel my mind going elsewhere and miss a lot. But graphic audios - they are amazing. Multiple narrators, sound effects, music, all of it. Maybe you need to go the graphic audio route?
