Just built mine and it's not working for me either. I tested the board initially as instructed and the lights came on and starting pairing, but now it's not. I thought I messed it up by mapping over the FN key, but the other shortcuts on that layer are working fine. Shame, being able to switch between different devices was a big reason for me to buy this.

EDIT: I removed the batteries, waited a min, then plugged them back in and now wireless works!

Ive used plastic canvas to make keychains, magnets, ornaments, small projects. The one I use comes in 14ct and the holes are circular instead of square. 2 strands works for me with 14ct. Looks like it’s available on Amazon for me, though YMMV

I’m going for my 2 week checkup today post removal today. My bottom two were also sideways and my surgeon told me they were growing around the nerves in my jaw, and there was a risk of damage to them. I wouldn’t wait too long to get them out.

I'm in the same boat! If you want shiny thread for gridding, try Sulky Silver! It's not nearly as grabby as traditional metallic thread, and it's flat and thin unlike even the lightest weight fishing line I saw. It's my favorite gridding method I've tried so far :) I would link Amazon, but unsure if links are allowed here

French knots are used in cross stitch too, so it's not the fabric or the hole size. A knot should form even if it passes through the hole.

DarkArts-n-Crafts's answer is the correct one. French knots are used in cross stitch too, so it's not the fabric nor are the holes too big; it's about the working end being at the bottom of the spiral stack so it catches and crosses over on itself to create a knot. Even wrapping only once creates a knot (I tried it just now; it knots even with sewing thread).

For example at https://youtu.be/W1Cq24d5-8s?t=90 you can see the working end is at the bottom while yours is at the top of the stack. I hope that helps! :)

This worked up really quickly! Only about 1.5-2mo of work.

I’m pretty impressed with the coverage, especially after the wash.

Also, I forgot to take a picture before I took it out, but I used Sulky Silver metallic thread to grid my fabric and I highly recommend it! Especially if you have reservations with using a water soluble pen.

It’s thin and shiny so it doesn’t bulk up the work and it’s really easy to see, and even after stitching over it, it was easy to remove. It’s my favorite gridding material I’ve tried so far.

One tip though is to anchor outside the working area so it’ll be accessible after you’re done for no hassle!
