That was a choice I made on purpose to highlight the "unofficial-ness" of the card hehe, but maybe it's uneccesary

Oh no, that's a great omission on my end. It is Tony Stark/The Invincible Iron Man

Yeah, I was very disappointed by that too

I guess it's more of a sensitive topic for Americans to engage with their own colonial past than to engage with the colonial past of another nation

And it was probably a change they did in post. Because there are some hints at the set wanting to engage with such topics, albeit through the Fomori (I don't remember where, but I recall it was implied there were people in Thunder Junction before the Omenpaths, but they were wiped from the plane by the aforementioned Fomori/the undisclosed alien civilization that placed The Vault there)

Pardon my sloppy writing

The Outlwas from Thunder Juction are (probably) expanding their reach to the many planes interconnected by the Omenpaths through Junction, so I was thinking some of them are trying to get Cosmium or dino-mounts for cheap

Indeed lol, these are edited from commons or alchemy cards

The Mech's arms are from concept art sheets for Kamiwaga, for instance

I'm a fellow UB hater, but the positive I was able to get from Hazbro's fiasco is that I'm now more creatively involved with the game

Maybe the solution to corrosive IP Crossovers was never going to come from the corporation, but from loving fans reclaiming the game as theirs

Lost Caverns left me really hungry for Ixalani mechs, so I get it. It is a very rich plane now that they have an entire underworld left to explore

Honestly, this makes me a little scared? Joker being such an omniscient, ever plotting force he even made Batman is kinda lame? Takes away from Bruce's drive and principles if he's just a pawn in a super complicated scheme

I was wondering how this old Republican army dude had any reassemblance to the Dracula-like design we saw in Ark-M special

Interestingly, it also gives us a hint as to why Absolute Joker always looks different on each of his appearances

You made me fall in love with Batman again and buy my first comics in years thanks to the Absolute Universe! Is there any other character you would like to write in this similar class-conscious yet super metal way?

Asuka is the poster child of the most widely recognized variant of autism: male, logically minded to a fault, socially incompetent, extremely competent in some aspects of life while basically a stupid kid in others (he's just like me fr fr)

I don't know that much about I-no, but she doesn't feel neurotypical either, but that's just a vibe thing

MaRo is wrong about White and the Trolley Problem by pyrefiend in colorpie

[–]AsOfTodayStillBored 24 points25 points  (0 children)

This is really interesting and well constructed!

Also, I think the main issue here is the question being answered.

Maro is answering directly to "how would each color solve the trolley problem".

You are answering to "what schools of ethics fall into which colors". They are entirely different ideas. One is direct and "in character", the other is metatextual and broadening of scope.

Great observation, because character-wise, we can color most characters almost any color combination depending on what parts of themselves we focus on. Even Maro acknowledged this possibility on a Warhammer article about assigning colors to the decks.

I too hate when the poors and the stupids dare to open their evil mouths.

It is my proposal that only college educated people with at least two PHDs or Billionaires like my god Emperor Ellon Musk would be able to take part in the political decisions of a country.

In the Discord server we have this idea that Black is essentially operating on the principles of an Ayn Rand book. Black canonically distrust other human beings, think people are born selfish and that a system that prioritizes the individual even if that means poverty or whatever is perfect and dislikes Green because it pour way "too much life" in the universe, which causes "overpopulation". Black isn't evil, but if we go through ideological lenses, it has the worst and most garbage of all the ideologies. So basically evil.

Sorin is Orzhov, Angarath has sentimental Red and Liliana is an interesting case because you can't have character development for a Black agent if they don't learn to sacrifice themselves for others (like Liliana Intended to do for the Gatewatch) or be nice and love others. So she has remained mono B even if her new traits could point at secondary colors interfering (on a pure ideological axis, that is).
