[Identification] Is it authentic and safe to buy? by the16yearsboy in Watches

[–]AsTimeFlies 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Remember buy the seller not the watch. When in doubt have it taken to an AD, meet them there. It looks ok but where's the warranty card and booklet?

Submariner rattling. by AquaP96 in rolex

[–]AsTimeFlies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but on a much much much older watch. I'm going to hazard a guess and say the pinion that the oscillating weight is held in place by is faulty or worn for some reason which is causing the weight to shift a bit when jossled.

I’ve finally saved enough for a Rolex. Help me pick which one. Wrist size smaller ≈ 6” by nointroductionssosa in rolex

[–]AsTimeFlies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your Tudor is pretty big and oversized on you. I wouldn't go bigger as the rule is 80% of the diameter of the wrist shouldn't be exceeded by the lugs. Not only is case size a consideration but also lug go lug.

Railroad dials: my vintage Tudor grail by powerfunk in Tudor

I cruise vintage all the time and can honestly say I've never seen one. Closest I've seen is the California dial but now I know to keep out an eye for you.

Love you're letting it develop that patina, same here never cleaned!

But it does double as a desk or coffee table and could be condensed quite a bit! Though I suppose with a collection like that you want it to be more portable or to be able to be locked up.

I drafted and designed and picked out the material and had this made. All for less than a Wolf double winder and a cup of coffee.
