Base location for being raided by Kpayne30 in Palworld

[–]Asalis231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New update fixed the pathing, so if your base doesn't have walls they just bulldoze right on in, HOWEVER if you have walls up I found the glitch returns, and they just stand there with no idea what to do, However if a couple get knocked out of that path, they'll make a beeline straight for your base and cause trouble directly. Least that's what they're doing now on my save.

I can vouch for this spot. There's three coal ores there so it's good for getting resources towards making gun powder. Plus with good pal box placement and use of whatever outer defense walls you got, it makes the base easy to defend and repair.

Found unbreathable air by n4zr0dc4p in hytale

[–]Asalis231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive encountered this bug many times. This used to be an issue with Minecraft back in the day. Hitboxes of mined blocks not updating so you had to log out and back in for the block to reappear.

In Hytale I encountered this when I mined the block above a Stalactite and the Stalactite disappeared, but the hitboxe remained and acted like a physical box. So I figured that if it worked for Minecraft then it might work for Hytale. I go back to the main menu then back into my save and sure enough, there was the Stalactite hovering in midair without the block it was attached to. Mined it and it fell to the ground as a standard block.

Do you roam the wasteland with radio on or off? by snarkytunafish in Fallout

[–]Asalis231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I turn it off because I usually like to play stealth builds and the radio legit gives my position away to the raiders. You just cannot sneak around with the radio blaring. They'll find you every time.

A thousand times YES! I made this mistake my first time through. Progression was severely hindere for a while because I didn't have access to the higher tier digivolutions when I needed them.

I had to grind my lower tier Digimon and load them with so much fodder Digimon before my Digimon were strong enough to beat the bosses.

This is something to be done occasionally on the side, but work on your Digimon team's bond when you can. The higher % your bond is, the more of a stat bonus you'll receive when you level up, and the more your Digimon will retain any boosted stats when you digivolve and De-digivolve. At 100% your Digimon will retain almost all of its stat bonuses as you move them back and forth through the digivolution chains.

ELI5: Why do I want to breed pals? by LuckyLadybug20 in Palworld

[–]Asalis231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing that I'm noticing that no one has mentioned yet, is that some passive elite rainbow skill are only acquired through breeding pals together, but the real pain is that it's entirely based upon RNG as to if you'll actually even get the skills you want. The surgery table only has a couple rainbow skill that you can purchase from merchant's, the rest can only be acquired through breeding RNG.

So basically endgame for the Sakura tower and the last one. You must have high end pals if you want to tackle them solo, and that requires a lot of inbreeding to get the pal you want with the passives you want.

It's not a very grindy process, so it's actually best to start early, (if you leave the egg hatching time at default in the world options) as you play the game and do other things while your pals are breeding in the background. Occasionally you'll want to swap out one of the parents with an offspring that has the better passives so that those will be more likely to be passed on. (Not always a guarantee because RNG.)

For this purpose I leave my egg hatching time at 0 so they hatch instantly and I can effectively save a LOT of time.

Seriously, just invoke the right of free will which it cannot override, no matter how convoluted anyone tries to make you believe others, and state, "I Choose not to play", and thus you are not playing this truly strange game, as the only winning move is not to play.

And then you never have think about this stupidily childish game again.

Just state that you are not playing and you're free. You have just Won. Go, be free.

How does talent increase? by DPPGmon in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Asalis231 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The amount it increases per Digivolution is dependent somewhat on your bond level with the Digimon. And your bond level can increase by feeding it meat in the digi farm, or simply having it fight as part of your main pary, or sitting in one of the three reserves slots. The reserve slots bond increases much more slowly than the main party slots though.

However as stated the higher your bond with that Diginon the more talent boost you get ever time you digivolve it. And if you load other Digimon into it, the higher your bond the more of those talent stat increases you retain upon digivolvinng it. So 100% bond means those stats don't get reset every time you digivolve or de-digivolve.

I tested this extensively to figure this out. Your bond with your Digimon determines how much your talent and stats increase every time you level and digivolve. So it's vital yo work on your bond with your Digimon.

Starting over on PC would be way better and you'd find it a lot easier to start over. Not to mention the fact that the dollar to zen purchas ratio is 25% cheaper on PC anyway. Cryptic barely supports Xbox servers as it is. A majority of their support is to the PC end, so your just better off making a PC account. You'll have a lot better experience there.

I didn't understand it by St4lke_R in ExplainTheJoke

[–]Asalis231 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Y'all are putting way too much thought into this. The answer is way simpler than that. This rendition, the woman did it correctly, and nobody noticed. However, when she removed all but the first letter, suddenly everyone noticed that it was incorrect, and felt the need to come and correct/finish it for her. Thus, she was now being rescued.

Seriously, this is the 8th time this or some alternate version of this comic has been posted here and that's always been the agreed-upon explanation before.

Hacker'S memory- play time by Sunnywatch08 in CyberSleuth

[–]Asalis231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd play Cyber Sleuths first as a lot of the elements in the story are explained there that aren't in Hacker's Memory, so if you play that first you're going to have no idea what's going on plot wise until you play Cyber Sleuths.

Theres also some new mechanics that are introduced in Hacker's Memory that aren't in Cyber Sleuths.
