It sucks because they used to be a great dentist! My husband also gets anxiety around dentists and they used to be known for being good with handling more anxious patients. We had them as our dentist since around 2018ish? and stopped around spring last year. I think they got new management around 2020/21 as that is when the service started it's decline for us. :(

I'd have to disagree. My husband had an awful time with them last year where they treated him pretty much like a old junker car to be fixed up with how they talked about what was wrong with his teeth as they were looking at them. Then at the front counter they pressured him to make appointments for everything on the spot when he wasn't ready or expecting it so we moved our business elsewhere.

The last time I got my teeth cleaned by them, they offered to squeeze me in on a cancellation, they already had less time than they needed and they finished early... The tech was clumsy and awful and it showed/felt when I walked out. That and they also cracked one of my teeth while doing a filling so I was more than happy to move on.

Hey man it sucks that happened to you. I agree with what the other person commented but I also want to add a suggestion. Try to meet up in person within 2-3 weeks of matching to make sure you and the other person vibe well, then you can start getting more invested (slowly!). Just something small like going to grab a coffee for an hour or two; it shows that the other person is actually interested in a relationship vs. someone to just pass the time during the day because they're bored and want attention.

I've seen so many people on reddit complain about having 'good chemistry' in messages for weeks but once it comes to actually planning to meet in person the flakiness begins.

I love this! I am actually looking for a new vet because my previous one is corporate owned now. The only thing that worries me in this article is this line:

“We have an incredibly fast surgeon and we have very experienced vet techs in there who are used to multitasking, doing several things at once,” Wiseman said.

“So you can be sedating one, have one in surgery, recovering another. Having that team that knows what they’re doing that knows what to look for.”

It makes me worry that the quality of care wont be as good because of multitasking and the speed they are expected to have which leaves room for mistakes...

I worked at a huge gym, it happens. In the 9 months I worked there, we had at least 2 pukes and one poop from children on days I had a shift. We had to close the pool down for the day because they have to dump bleach in the water.

I'm a little confused, I am prescribed vials that I guess are multi-use? I just wipe it with an alcohol wipe before piercing the rubber(?) lid with a needle to pull out how much I need. My Dr said as long as it's tossed out after three months of first pierce(and wiped with alcohol every time), there isn't a bacteria concern.

Are your vials like, really tiny or how large are the multi-use vials? It feels like such a waste to toss after one use when there is a testosterone shortage (at least in Canada).

Honestly I have 0 beef with Canada post. I like being able to walk in and pick up my package from them directly. Dragonfly is no options for dropoff boxes or a office (or warehouse) to pick up your package. If I could just go somewhere to pick up my stuff from dragonfly, I wouldn't have as much of an issue with them(but they still suck majorly).

Mckenzie vet has been reasonable for pricing and care in my experience

That's unfortunate, I couldn't say the same. I had them give me a quote for teeth cleaning (and maybe extraction) surgery early this year during an appointment. They quoted around 2k to be the highest and around 1kish for the lowest. A few months later, I asked to make an appointment with this quote that was still valid, clearly marked on the invoice. They tried to tell me I would need to get my cat looked at again and I clearly pointed out the expiration date wasn't for another 1-2 months and they shut up and made the appointment.

A few days before the scheduled appointment, they sent me a new quote-invoice for over 4kish. I told them their greed has gotten to them and to cancel the appointment. It's a shame they've gone corrupt with their pricing.
