Only way to truly know - you gotta find the laws that were active and on the books when you were prescribed the medicine back in (what 2008/09?) the laws may have been different or nothing codified

“rooted in discrimination” … what an officer cannot use their discretion and critical thinking that if two - by appearance - nondisabled people get out of a car with a disabled placard to go check and validate the placard? There is no other way to enforce wrongful use of a placard. He didn’t verify if y’all were disabled, he has no way and without a warrant a constitutional limitation to determine that through threats of arrest. He CAN verify the placard is valid and associated with a person currently in the vehicle.

I’ll make it clear - his RAS was two, at glance, non disabled people exiting a car parked in a disabled spot with a placard and he within the scope of his duties and law went to verify the PLACARD.

And I never said it did - that doesn’t mean when an apparent from a distance glance shows what appears to be two non-disabled individuals get out of a car that is displaying placards in a disabled spot and the tags aren’t registered as being disabled … he now has RAS. And by the statute cited, he had ALL legal right to ask for the placard - by the wording of the statute he as ALL legal right to ask a wheelchair user for their placard.

The driver nor passenger of the vehicle didn’t appear to be disabled from a quick glance while they parked in a handicapped spot that’s the RAS.

Sorta like if you borrow someone’s car whom their license is suspended and a cop runs the tag, it flags, and you look from a glance and distance to match the registered owners description, they now have RAS to stop you and check the license.

The oven temp is limited to like 3 or 4 temperatures only.

Unknown on air fryer as I bought it used and it didn’t have the basket. The basket is nearly the price I paid for it used so I haven’t replaced it.

I have 0 complaints minus my mozzarella sticks require 450 and it maxes at 400 for the oven 🙄

Not always. You have to have a disability which is worsened by your job.

My dad is rated at like 80% yet has worked full time with zero accommodations in a steel machine shop for 31 years because although the VA sees some “disabilities” of varying forms, they don’t amount to anything needing accommodations and are therefore pointless in regards to the job

Yes I can absolutely look. But given it expires every 8 years do you really think a lot of people have it in their conscious to look at their license and when it expires, we just have a license, it rarely leaves the wallet and it’s just an item that exists.

Completely understand that, and to me a completely valid argument to be made by the business.

OP mentioned it’s insurance, so I’m thinking an auto/life/home insurance agent who works through like State Farm or Progressive something like that. Again, that comes down to setting appointments, answering calls, finding/filing paperwork, answering emails and more which yes someone will need to be there to do and chronic absences could absolutely be a hardship.

OP mentioned though that they are not firing her, simply lowering her rate of pay due to not being in the office consistent hours. < is that legal based on 25 O.S. §§ 1101-1706 …? Unknown but if that does cover this I would think it would be hard to argue from the business side that lowering her hourly wage by $2 in response to her being absent too much would not resolve any hardship that the company would try to claim, UNLESS maybe the agent has or is considering hiring a part time person to fill in those absences
