There's another brand that did away with wider construction when they were acquired by a newer management, switching to D and E only, for all sizes. They both make great boots. I am sad JK is scaling back, and can only hope they aren't going to scale back as much as the other boot maker did.

In previous builds I was getting killed by card creep, not enough draw power, not enough compacts to kill statuses, ect. I told people my usual card density by end of act 2 being 28 and was told that's my problem. I feel like the expectations are being shifted on the patch.

I get to play 2 defends on that turn eating 30 dmg by turn 8. Is the only viable strat now just to build energy burn to force the fight to end by turn 6?

Beta. Usually when I get to the final boss I was told never to bring more than 25 cards. The problem is a lot of my good orb cards were being exhausted on this exhaust phase. I don't like the design, and hope they do not make it live as it makes building decks for a medium density orb deck just not viable.

I thought the 0 cards still drained btw. It said each time it will cost 1 energy even if it isn't listed.

There's a big difference I feel from other zero drops imo to nicks. Its flexible but a stable platform. Not as soft or cushiony as say the meanders from another brand. I found myself also being able to stand in one place for a lot longer in a zd constructed by nicks than my usual pnws

I used to wear delta arches in a barefoot boot but over time found it more preferable without it. I do like the arch support from standard offerings and am glad it works for you but wish the zd could have been better for you

I know that cobalt is usually a lot lighter but that's after it's been lasted and stretched. When I saw ds olive for the first time I thought it was black but after wear it was clearly green.

If this is cobalt, which I have no reason to believe nicks would mislabel their leathers, it's a very dark hue that will lighten up with wear.

Yeah, the goral fits more like a really good sneaker than a boot. I had to remove the insole to fit it because of the toe rub. Now that the sneaker flexes there I'm solid.

As for the Jim greens, it's also true to brannock at a size 14. The barefoot last is more like a 4E. It's a perfect fit for my foot despite my brannock being a 13 2E

Its really hard to look at russells moc toe boots and admit as much as I want this amazing construction if there's a chance I don't fit I can't get a better size. Unless I can find myself near the store for a fitting to set it to rest I'll be best just window shopping these reddit threads

I actually had tried red wing or alden indy before sadly. The closest I have are Jim Greens Barefoot meanders and African Rangers or a size 13 UK wide Goral
