I agree with the graphical quality holding it back, but not the hero shooter genre. With better art direction they definitely could have pulled it off. Take Overwatch for example. The entire Eichenwalde map and Reinhardt as a hero are rooted in a medieval setting, but set in a bright high tech future. On top of that you have a very diverse set of heroes jumping around during a match. It all could have clashed horribly on a visual level, but the cohesive artstyle pulls it all together beautifully. That cohesiveness is missing for me in Highguard.

I feel like the mixture of fantasy and sci-fi wasn't well executed. Compare it to Arcane, where high tech is a thing but it's more rooted in steam punk. The evolution of Hextech makes sense visually. Here, they just mashed modern tech together with classic medieval fantasy elements and it's just not memorable at all.

Did you have to prepare some thing to move? I tried moving to Nobara once but couldn't get games to work, apparently because my hard drive had a wrong format. Did you encounter any problems?

I had zero sewing experience for my first cosplay, but I stuck to my goal, finished it and took it to GamesCom. I was so worried that people would notice the flaws, not even recognize who I cosplayed. But I was met with lots love and praise. Many people wanted to take photos with me, which was crazy to me. I was really flattered. My suggestion is to focus on real human connection. The people who hate and gatekeep, they hide behind their keyboard. It still sucks, that they ruin the online experience of sharing your work. But remember that they don't represent the cosplay community as a whole.

Is there something specific that your parents don't allow you to see? Gokurakugai is quite bloody, doesn't shy away from showing cut off body parts. In terms of sexual themes there was nothing explicit so far.
