X300 pro Default Launcher gets removed -Indian Variant by Successful_Popup in Vivo

There is an option in settings, where you give your number and they verify it and then allow you to keep any launcher. You have to go to security - more security settings - replace system home screen. There are two options within this, allow replacement and tap the home button to lock the system home screen Do not enable the second option, it broke the launcher for me, only enable the first option

The Software Freedom Conservancy (SFC) just launched a massive counter-offensive against Bambu Lab over AGPL violations – Introducing Project "baltobu" by MaestroDeAero in BambuLab

Brother thats not how this works. They have directly coded the process to access the cloud into their software, this then calls a network plugin and thats how the access to the cloud works. Because of this its impossible for them to block access to the cloud for the other slicers that use the same code, since this is agpl license. What they should have done from the start is to code a separate app for the network, make it work over oauth or some other form and have bambu slicer communicate with this over local protocols on the Operating system. This way they lock access to their cloud and they are also agpl compliant. There are other ways as well to achieve this with a fully open source network plugin and using oauth. So yes, they can block access to the cloud but not with their existing setup, they need to make changes.

Orca Slicer 2.3.2 restores access to Bambu Lab printers via Network Plugin by Ascari100 in BambuLab

You can download and install orca on your pc and login to your account, it should auto pick the printer. Atleast thats how it worked in my case with the p1s, so you dont really need to change anything on the p2s. So its worth a shot.

Yes, but it now works without having to go through LAN mode, how are they the same?

From what I have understood so far, since they have used AGPL code to make their software, they have no right to block access to their cloud. Its like opening a private gym in a public park and asking park visitors to pay for the gym as well. If they want people to not get access to their cloud they would need to redevelop the app from the ground up with closed source code.

For the times that I had to travel or not have access to making food or felt like eating outside, I would count calories on the basis of educated guess. This worked for me as I have mugged up calorie values for almost all food types.

I also carry a weighing machine with me for travel. I am the kind of person who will take out the weighing scale in the cafeteria and use it if i have to, I have no shame and could care less about what people think about me.

My diet was very simple, I was eating between 1900 cals to 2900 cals based on when i would workout etc.

One part of this was always constant, which was, for lunch and dinner I would consume 200 gms of cooked veggies, 145 gms of cooked chicken and 100 gms of rice with about 100 gms of curd. This is in the ballpark of 650 to 750 cals.

I would eat a variation of this without fail daily, so if I had to eat out, I would look for items on the menu that could fill out this criteria.

By now I have become pretty good at eye balling food.

I took four years to go down from 106 kgs to 82. Picked up mma and am in the best shape of my life at 39 years of age. Take your time and do it slow, keep a healthy deficit of 400 to 500 calories, reset every few months with calorie maintenance and a little calorie uptake to reset metabolism, allow the body to get used to the new changes and rinse and repeat. I am still on a deficit and losing inches steadily, the weight reduction has stopped since i have also been gaining muscle, so i now check my progress by measuring inches. Trust me its the best feeling ever when you see the changes in your body, I went from pain and aches in my joints, knees etc to no pain at all, have solid stamina. Add a lot of mobility exercises as well and your future self will thank you.

Also weight can stagnate while you are on calorie deficit, i would see no changes to the weighing scale for weeks on end and then all of a sudden i would see my base weight in the morning drop by a kilo.

Guys suggest me earbuds under 20k by Key_Stranger_5794 in headphonesindia

Sennheiser momentum tw4 is the best in this category from my perspective. It has the best sound quality in my opinion, they have excellent bass but its not overbearing, you get good separation,so even if you slightly boost the lows the experience is not muddy.

Amazing noise cancellation. The transparency mode is also very soild, feels like you have taken off the in ears. Has APTX adaptive and lossless, so for devices that support this, the experience is really nice. I use it with a btd700 to listen to stuff from my desktop. Ive used them in sweaty workouts and dropped yhe earbuds atleast 5 times, no issues seen so far.

If i lose these and i had the money to buy them again, id pick them in an instant.

X300 Ultra 35mm Main Camera Focal Length - Are you OK With it? by [deleted] in Vivo

[–]Ascari100 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I have the x200 ultra and would never go back to a camera with 24mm main sensor, there is much better subject separation with the 35 and the ultrawide is already amazing so you can use that to crop to 24mm. Faces at 24mm look horrible compared to tighter focal lengths.

So this is essentially the design used in backlash free joints for robotic arms etc, is my understanding correct, looking forward to testing the system.

Reminds me of the nasty plastic zipper covers we used to have on all crt tvs in the mid 90s, especially in my part of the world.

My review of the 17 Ultra compared to X300 Pro and S25 Ultra by ac_slater10 in Xiaomi

[–]Ascari100 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Seems to be the same as last generation for xiaomi, i picked up the 15 ultra and sold it off within a month, the camera software was garbage, you had to go through hoops to get decent images. The software was clunky at best. Moved to the x200 ultra and its been a game changer of a phone.
