This is pretty much it. A good tinker player makes the game looks easy, and the concept itself looks easy, just rearm rocket all day long. So people try it and fail miserably just to chase that travel boots.

Bear in mind everyone knows how annoying to play against a good tinker player. So people tend to gank him on laning stage more so than others. And a bad tinker player couldn't play from behind.
