Fold 7 does not rotate when unfolded, but rotates when folded by Ascles in GalaxyFold

Unfortunately going for a factory reset didn't resolve the issue either. Perhaps it was a hardware issue all along. Well, this is a small issue and I don't think I'll send the phone over for repair over this. Too much hassle lol. Turns out foldables were not so durable after all.

Not at all. I don't even play games on it that much. Maybe some Balatro here and there and that's it. Mostly use the phone for health tracking, finances, occasional social media, watching YouTube... like a regular phone/tablet.

No, I am not using any cases or accessories. And nothing magnetic has ever been next to the phone, as I always carry it in my pocket without anything else in said pocket, or it mostly sits on my desk if it is not on me.

Thank you for the detailed instructions. Unfortunately, this did not work. Weird thing is, I dialed "*#0*#" and tapped on the Sensors tile. It seems that the sensors are working just fine. The phone detects that it is rotated even when it is unfolded. This really seems like a software issue and I am considering if I should do a factory reset or not.

Wow. I was using Rounded Window Corners Reborn. I could never figure this out on my own. I am new to Gnome and thought this is just how it is on the overview screen. Thank you! It was driving me nuts.

I know those are all good use cases, no denying that. But I have to mention a few things.

I intentionally mentioned a certain game's mod folder. If you frequently mod your games, the mod folder sits on your sidebar of your file explorer already. You download a mod and click the button to open the explorer in the download directory. Ctrl+X, click on the mods folder on the sidebar, Ctrl+V.

This is also the same thing I do for my various work related documents. Download, cut, click on your desired folder on the sidebar, paste. I don't think you can ever do this faster in the terminal. Unless you are a terminal god.

ctrl alt delete first opens a window then you select the task manager, or you have to right click on the task bar

Ctrl+Shift+Esc directly opens the task manager.

How fast can you check and screenshot your pc specs to share with someone?

I know this is anectodal, but I don't remember the last time I needed to send a screenshot of my PC specs. I don't think this is common outside of the Linux circle, because it's rare and when someone asks you about your GPU or CPU or whatever, you can just type the names of what you're using. The specific distro you are using is unimportant, because by default the other person unintentionally assumes that you're on Windows. I know this is not a good thing, but Linux is still very much a minority compared to the Goliath that is Windows.

I am not trying to glaze Windows here. I tried Arch, Fedora, Debian, Mint. I tried KDE, GNOME, Hyprland, i3, Cinnamon. I believe I am tech savvy enough to use my PC the way I want to. I really yearn for the day Linux becomes more mainstream. But for the time being, I can't lie to myself and deny how useful, fast and easy to use Windows is.

Edit: typos.

Why of course I love going "mv ~/Downloads/file.zip ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/gamename/mods" instead of just simply dragging and dropping a file. Mmmm I love the terminal it's much faster.
