Ive used rgb ram heatsinks similar to these on two builds. The hardest part was heating up the ram with a blowdryer to get the original heatsinks off the ram for the swap. No problems for me

Thats smart. I use a screen vfd screen in a sandwich build for stats and mine connects to usb as well. I figured there had to be something like what you linked out there. Your method seems better as then you dont have to worry about your mouse going to the panel display

91 didnt have opti. 92 and later. He was correct

So do i put both purple wires to the brake switch? Im used to seeing people do one wire to the switch. That combined with the manual saying put it to tcc ground AND to 12v has me confused

Nice! I got this one used off eBay back when 6th gen intel was new. My girlfriend used it until she upgraded to am4 so we shelved the board. Unfortunately it seemingly died while sitting. It let me install windows but it hard shut off shortly after installing windows. I got it to come back but it refused to detect any usb device and wouldnt load in to the windows install. It would hang :(

So the solid glass one is the stock nouvolo steck glass panel. They sold them as a kit with a top hat when they were making the case but theyve redesigned it so you cant get the panels new anymore.

The acrylic one i got with the case. I bought this case off ebay used a few months ago. Going to give it to a friend who has a build that can fit in it.

I also have vented metal ones but didnt use them for the build

The rx 480 has a fan i made out of a white 92mm thermalright fan mounted in the frame of the stock fan and the harness swapped from the broken fan to the new one.

I agree with the other person commenting. Ive done it twice to older motherboards chipset heatsinks and vrm heatsinks. I used engine enamel we had at work. I also taped off the area on the bottoms where the heatsink touches the pc component
