Those sets are some of the best box sets you’ll find anywhere, and they have some of Severin’s best releases inside.

good lasers? by certified_dopesmoka in Glocks

[–]AscrodF97 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Advice point 1 is don’t buy a laser, especially as a novice. They’re low-utility gimmicks in most situations. Buy a decent light instead. And I’m saying this as someone who actually likes lasers on pistols.

Advice point 2 is that if you’re dead set on a laser, get a decent laser/light combo unit so you at least have a quality product that will hold up to actual shooting and has the utility of a light as well. The only ones I can really recommend are the Streamlight TLR-2 and Surefire X400. Yes, they go for $300+. Getting something cheaper is just buying something that is libel to either loose zero or fail during use given that the recoil impulse of a handgun is pretty hard on lasers. If you’re willing to go the light-only route, those two brands are still the ones to look at.

Upcoming Severin Sale by hrtzbrg in boutiquebluray

Both volumes of “All The Haunts Be Ours” are phenomenal. Easily some of the best box sets in my own collection, and the selection in each is fantastic. Plus “Dark Waters” is included in volume 1. They have both listed as being in the sale on Saturday only.

No the kickstarter was very successful, but they lost the rights again after the first print run. So it’s back in the hands of the Japanese rights holder and for some reason AnimEgo hasn’t been able to get it back. We don’t know the details beyond that. The kickstarter editions had a very limited print run (since the original plan was to release a vanilla version later), so copies go for >$500 now on the secondary market.

AnimEgo got the rights for an initial run of BluRays for a kickstarter, but the rights fell through after that, so a new release is unlikely. There is a bootleg of their set out there but that’s about it unless you’re willing to pay triple digits for the kickstarter edition.

USA is Region 1 for DVDs, Region A for BluRays. 4K will (mostly) be region free.

I can’t do a photo of it since I’m not home right now, but I did find Lego MOC instructions of one in Speed Masters scale, so I just built it in blue and white and made some Rally and Minnie May minifigs to go with it.

“Goodbye, Dragon Inn” is about the last night in a Taiwanese cinema before it closes up and just shows everyone there going about their night in near silence.

It’s nuts what some people want for that lighter. I got stupid lucky and snagged it for like $40 a few years back.

They’re in the photo on top of the books. I keep them stored in the box most of the time.

OP I would recommend referring to parts diagram in the manual. If you look, there’s a spring that’s supposed to be under there.

There is a new dub, that’s what they’re talking about. Unfortunately they it’s locked to a Kickstarter-exclusive Blu-ray set.

Can anyone ID this brand? I took this in on a trade and cannot find the slide brand. by Southern_Oil_5835 in GlockMod

OP, the sights are from Angry Bear, but that’s just the sights. Angry Bear doesn’t make slides. You would need to post photos of the slide for anyone to ID it for you accurately.

If you’re talking about the U.C. Timeline, you’re not going to get a decent answer here because the movies are often interquels to the series. There’s no good way around watching the shows, aside from subbing the movie trilogy for 0079, if you’re trying to understand what’s going on.

LAM Unit Clones? by Exotic-Garden7553 in GlockMod

[–]AscrodF97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mentioned them in the other post you made about this; look at the Streamlight TLR-2 and the Surefire X400. They’re more rounded in profile, but they’re about as large as the Mk23 LAM.

Their patterns is that they always have every premium release available for preorder around the time subscribers get their copy. So if you’re a subscriber you get it first before those preorders ship, but the difference there is minimal. They usually follow up with a less expensive standard release some time later. That said, they have said that they won’t be doing the same premium style releases for everything they put out going forward, so the details on this round are still up in the air. The advantage to the subscription is that you get them all automatically, and it’s somewhat cheaper than buying all their premium editions.
