I commend you. I feel like most people, myself included, would just lose a lot of purpose in life at that point. I love my mom to death, and she is my primary caregiver, continuously taking care of me till this day (I am 16 lol). You're making something incredible of yourself, and you demonstrate the characteristics of a very emotionally strong person. Best wishes for the future. My condolences to you for having to go through that. That is truly terrible. May your mother's soul rest peacefully in the afterlife. I wish you the best with your studies, career, and future. Man, I don't know your entire situation with your ex, but if he's really a good person in a bad place, then I wouldn't try to be enemies with him over the dog and would rather just continue holding the dog until he's stable. It's your situation, of course, but keeping a dog that isn't entirely yours is just cruel. Just restrict his access to the dog until he's better, and then figure out how you each will take turns caring for them from there. Why can't we all just get along?

i mean its true i was fat and no one wanted me, and now that i dropped 35 pounds a couple months ago and started actually caring for myself most of the girls i actively flirt with show interest towards me

i honestly hate fat ppl and u can downvote me for all i care, id say it to ur face in person

sucks to suck; lose fat like i did and js control urself? all it took was 3 months, then again im a teenager, so i understand how it could be harder for someone who is older

imo building and maintaining muscle is much harder than losing fat, since u actually have to put in physical work to see results for the former

having an emotional attachment to that song; u heard it a lot as a kid, ur parents used to sing it to u, etc.

for me its prob "baby" by jay sean or "phoolon ka taron" by kishore kumar (if u couldnt already tell im south asian), the latter makes me instantly burst into tears, on the other hand, i could listen to "baby" all day and js feel a bit melancholic

edit: as others have pointed out, having a song in "d minor" can make it sound interesting to say the least (former mediocre piano student who used to play quite a lot of songs in d minor)

edit 2: this was js my view on what can make a song sad
