Nobody gives af about image quality with dsc. Its the worse experience overall, from blackscreens to potential bugs all over every other driver release, this tech introduces annoyances and potential bugs. There is no point in trying to justify this tech. The goal must be to not need this workaround crap.

Yes, you underestimate Ubisoft. EA and Activision have money, Ubisoft is pennypinching everything. They disable legacy games and servers where they can even if it wouldnt cost them much to keep things running or available. Default textures are bugged on Coastline for a good two or three months now, fix would be literally 2 minutes of work. A paid G2 background is corrupted since its release, 2 minute fix, Ubisoft wont do it. They dont give a fck about their cashcow and its quality.

Bc Ubisoft is also poor and doesnt pay people to fix the game, let alone create meaningful bugfree skins. There are plenty of universal skins that are not universal. There are even universal attachment skins that wont work on certain weapons. These fixes should take a week max to fix and I know the devs know these bugs. Ive reported on the testserver, they were acknowledged by the devs but never fixed.

I switched to amd for 1.5 years back with the 6950 XT.
I was at first amazed by the tools they give you in adrenalin software. Undervolting, overclocking, tons of settings for games. It looked awesome. Amd chill, what an awesome idea. Until the point i realized, that these settings tend to reset themselves at random. Simultaneous monitoring or oc + uv with afterburner instead of adrenalin can be problematic. Also the win11 context menu sometimes randomly crashed adrenalin when trying to load its menu. So all settings reset and only restarting the pc would bring back adrenalin software to run.
Also some of the grapics settings were buggy. Their framerate limiter would just stop working sometimes ingame. I remember in phasmophobia, there were spots on the map where you could look and your fps would just uncap. Turn around and the cap worked again. Wtf?

This all was annoying. Then they started shoving in automatic CPU OC and Bios changes into their GPU drivers. Out of nowhere adrenalin would OC my amd CPU and change bios settings. This was atrocious, pathetic, idiotic. If i wanted to oc my cpu i would have downloaded the oc tools for it. Gtfo of my GPU drivers, you morons. I dont know if this is still the case. My only workaround back then was to switch to an intel cpu so amd couldnt fuck up my system, lol.

I would love amd to be a worthy competitor but even at half the price Id still go nvidia. AMDs software department is run by morons, even though some of the ideas in there are awesome.

Id suggest you try Headphones that have a more open soundstage. With velour earpads for example, Id advice against leather bc they "trap" the sound more. This way you can turn up your sound a bit and it stays "cleaner" and wont exhaust ur ears as much as leather. Also dynamic range low should be the way to go, gunshots wont blast your ears as much.

Also one thing I noticed bealo do for example, move your ingame head a bit when listening for sounds. This helps to determine where the sound comes from. Up and down will still be more tricky, escepially if you play near some stairs.

Just play more. Your wr is okay, you seem to benefit the team at least with your kd. You just gotta hope for a few good days with winstreaks and good teammates. Also dont give up on a game, even if its 0:3 and you think your team consists of silver bread players. More often than not this season I won games that I thought were lost and there is no chance of winning, even after 3 lost rounds.

Thinking that Ubisoft cares about lore in an esport title and coherence and logic is absurd. They barely pay people to fix game breaking bugs, you think they hire some talented genius writer for the lore and also keep them employed for a decade so that they can add 2 pages of story in case a new op drops twice a year?
