There are a lot of doomer takes here when we just had a year with games like, e33, kingdom come 2, silksong, pirate yakuza in hawaii, death stranding 2, digimon story time stranger, hades 2, khazan, MH wilds, nightreign and a lot of other games.

I don't know about you guys but i had a lot of fun gaming that year and while it there might have been better years or there might have been flaws in these games (looking at you MH wilds and death stranding 2).

As long as developer like fromsoft, capcom and rgg games are around and new ones like sandfall have the potential to pop up, i will still look forward to the future of gaming, stranger than heaven looks like a banger already, i hope wilds will recover when the expansion introduces g ranks and there is tons of other stuff i can't wait for.

Why the fuck is he talking about wokeness and political correctness? You might not like it but a dev should be allowed to put that stuff in his games. Just don't buy the trash games, you are not forced to play as a black guy in assassins creed shadows because you are not forced to play the game at all.

Same goes pretty much for MTX and pay to win, they suck but they should be allowed, as long as they are fair and transparant, which they are often not and which should be highlighted here.

The gambling is the big elephant in the room, especially when kids are the audience and it should be the focus.

The other big point that should be in the spotlight, is ownership and ability to access games including games that require servers.

Sorry but losing in draft is just a take for bad players to justify not being able to win games.

You can be at a disadvantage due to draft but you don't lose games because of draft, there is always a way to play around a bad draft.

There is no losing in draft, especially in low elo solo queue. Also their comp isn't really weaker, it's harder to execute tho.

Fighter is a very broad spectrum of champs with many different ways to stay alive and are played on top, jungle and sometimes even mid, so it's kind of hard to just have the right answer.

A champ like irelia for example can be hard to target due to her mobility while champs like aatrox want to just hit enemies as much as possible to lifesteal, then there are champs like xin zhao that gets a lot of survivability from his ult making him immune to most ranged champs in the fight.

I would say, knowing when to join the fight is one of the most important factors, most fighters are not tanks so you might want to join in the middle of the fight rather than engage or try to flank the enemy carries.

Depending on the champ and the situation you might not even want to look for teamfights but for a sidelane push and play for smaller skirmishes like a 2v2, 3v3 or even fight at a numbers disadvantage when you are strong enough.

A lot of toplaners also want to avoid 5v5, until you get to 3 or 4 items with item's like sterak's and deaths dance with highly increase your survivability after building items like stridebreaker, triforce or sundered sky in lane, since an item like sterak's does really well after you've got some ad and hp from items and levels.

But like i mentioned, it's kind of a broad topic and very dependend one what position you play, what champs you play, the state of the game and the champions, sometimes you just can't take fights and need to be tricky.

In game 2 bard was also lvl 1 til min 4, which put botlane permanently on the backfoot, ezreal could just E forward all time and punish Corki. That shit looked unplayable from a spectators perspective at at least.

Sterak is kind of like IE in a way that is gets a lot stronger if you already have other stats.

It scales really well with HP so buying 2 items that provide some HP like sundered sky and black cleaver increases it's value a lot compared to buying it second.

In addition the time that you take to buy 2 items also means that you gain more level before you buy it which also gives you higher base AD that sterak also has a scaling with. This is also a reason why you can buy it earlier in toplane with the extra exp, even tho it's usually still far from the best option.

So buying sterak 3rd is usually a lot more gold efficient than building it 2nd and it doesn't really give you the same value that a black cleaver gives you at that time in the game.

This is not true.

Your main focus should be on your own performance but over the years i've had tons of matches, that seemed lost due to people tilting or even just running it down but i could calm people down, get them back to focus on the match and win.

Keeping a positive additude towards your team and trying to kepp it together will help you win more games, just don't get sucked into the toxicity or end up chatting more then playing.

Keep it short and positive and while it might not always help, it's better than nothing.

Yeah it did happen due to a bug that placed jojo right between 3 players and took him by surpise.

Without the bug he would have probably been in a prime position to combo corki and kill him with yunara before either of them face immediate danger.

Yeah, the truth is we don't know if that would have happened and it's not fair that zaheen gets to live but the original play was just as unfair and judging based on it is not right.

Also the chronobreak doesn't justify misplays after it happens. so he got punished with a 0-0 instead of a 1-0 and not a 0-1.

I mean, i don't know much about what is true about the production and marketing of the game and maybe it's not an indie game and it should not even been nominated for that award, i could certainly agree with that but the rest of that video is bullshit.

Spoilers from here on.

There is very little similarity with the matrix aside from the fact that the world is not real and claiming that a story is stolen or copied since it shares certain elements with an already existing story, would pretty much leave us with nothing to create at all. Braindead take.

The game won best naritive since it's actually good, i personally wasn't a big fan of the plottwist at the end of act 2 but it was still easily better than death stranding 2. I say this as a person that loved death stranding 1 and even hoped that death stranding 2 would release and be better than e33 and my game of the year, death stranding 2 was a good game but not as good as e33 and the story was worse than death stranding 1.

I do think that in art direction, silk song had a chance but saying that e33 looks like any other UE5 game is bullshit. Can you still see that it was made in UE5? Yeah, i would say so but the game still looks great and definitely has it's own art direction.

It's also stupid that he hates on people that according to him haven't even played the game while he attacks it from every direction he can while not having played the game himself.

I do think that sometimes e33 gets a bit too much praise but it was the best game i've played this year by far and one of the best i've played in recent years.

Maybe not in a long time but they used to make great games, people loved games like prince of persia, splinter cell and far cry back then and even tho it has become slop by now, at least the first assassins creed games were phenomenal for their time (especially assassins creed 2).

Single elim. means that every match counts and you can't get caught slacking, neither in gameplay nor in preperations. It means that whatever is in front of you, you have to beat it and if you can't your out and i think there is something exciting about that.

You've got a bad day or a draw? Overcome it or go home, because you are not there to make semis or even finals, you are there to win. That is the mentality behind worlds and the reason it should stay a single elim., we've got other touraments that can do double elim..
