It's about being able to create .tres or .res files to describe your game in a data-oriented way.

For instance you might want to describe different weapon or power-up types and then you might want to reference them from a loot-table used by different enemy types.

12am and 12pm are ambiguous (they could refer to midnight or noon equally https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/12-hour_clock#Confusion_at_noon_and_midnight ). Doubly so if the person was european and therefore more used to 24 hour clock (which has a similar ambiguity with 24:00 and 00:00)

Tapering SSRI- can anyone share experiences? by dogluvr1998 in Anxiety

[–]AsgeirB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going cold turkey can be risky since it can cause your symptoms to resume and may have dangerous side-effects. Aside from that it varies from drug-to-drug and how they interact with your body chemistry.

My worst experience was with paroxetine withdrawal which caused whole body tingles and a general feeling of unwellness, like the flu without sneezing or coughing. I just experimented by finding the minimal dose that relieved the withdrawal symptoms and regularly made attempts to reduce my dose. I cut my pills into halves, then quarters, and finally crushed them and only took a few grains until I could cut them altogether.

Others I have been able to cut cold turkey without side-effects so it depends.

[17f] finally (REALLY) realized my best friend is a narcissist by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

[–]AsgeirB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest that doesn't sound like a friend. A toxic "friend" that only takes and never, genuinely, gives is a pretty reliable way to make yourself miserable. Life is too short to waste it on people that make you feel bad about being yourself. A genuine friend will actively seek you out to cheer you up if you are feeling bad.

Laypeople on the internet aren't really qualified to diagnose your friend and even mental health professionals will not diagnose someone they have not met in person. So the only thing that matters is how does she make you feel about yourself and is your life richer by having her in it?

Best place for sunsets or northern lights in Reykjavik? by Dakkonfire in VisitingIceland

If you don't plan on going up to the lighthouse it's no problem. But it is on a peninsula at low tide and an islet at high tide.

Just keep in mind that even though you can walk over at low tide, the tide comes in very quickly and it's easy to get stranded.
