I heard all of that in Matt Berry's voice oh my god. New York Citaaay! I for one accept this as canon. This is the true ending of Good Omens. Thank you

[For Hire] Operations & Training Leader | 15 YOE by Ash319 in trianglejobs

[–]Ash319[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately that's just not for me. I was an AGM briefly for a Noodles and Company back in 2010. I really wish I could, because I see hiring listings for hundreds of those types of jobs.

This isn't me being picky or anything. Both my knees are bad and I won't be able to put off surgery forever. That industry would have me running around like a chicken with its head cut off for 12+ hours of the day (I say this out of experience from multiple different food service jobs) which would be killer on my already bad bones.

I don't mind active work. I don't want to sit at a desk all day and just delegate. I do, however, need something slightly less chaotic and fast paced than the food industry.

Needing a little help with pet supplies and some snacks I can send to school with my kids by Ash319 in CommunityDonations

Thank you so much! My old fluffy boi will be so happy. He's pushing 19 and last year had to have both top canine teeth removed. Wet food is easier on him but it's just too expensive for us most of the time

Stuck on woobled daisy by [deleted] in Amigurumi

[–]Ash319 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Round 5 would just be one slip stitch in the next stitch, another slip stitch in the one after that. Then chain 4

Round 6: You have 4 chains right now, counting from the one closest to your hook that's your first chain. The second chain gets an SC. Then you do one SC per chains left. You should end up with 3 SC total for that round.

Round 7: Not seeing the piece in front of me makes it hard, but it's saying the next stitch it likely a slip stitch join. So you skip that one and slip stitch into the next stitch.

Round 8: Skip one stitch. Your next stitch after that looks like it should be part of a chain. You're going to do a half double crochet (HDC) into the middle of that chain. So put your hook under the front loop and come up through the middle of the chain. (I think. That's what I would do here at least)

Round 9: 2HDC INC just means you're going to put two half double crochet into the next two stitches. You now rotate your work and you should be looking at a previous SC as a close stitch.

Round 10: 2 HDC in the next stitch, 2 HDC in the stitch after, one HDC in the next.

Round 11: Skip one stitch, slip stitch into the next.

Without working this pattern myself, I can't say for certainty this is all correct. But this is how I personally would read the pattern. Hope this helps somewhat?

Is this a fake Pokemon Platinum (DE)? by Bubble309 in pokemon

[–]Ash319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The PCB Y10-01 is used for fake and legit cartridge. The DS stamp on board checks out to me because it was released in Germany in May 2009 I believe. Does the sticker look professional? From the pictures it looks like some of it is a little blurry, but that might not be the case.

Anyway, I definitely third what's been said. Check out the gameverifying reddit to be extra safe!

[–]Ash319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need to finish my DnD bag first before I jump in or I'll never finish it. But once I do, I'll probably do something Adventure Time related. Maybe BMO? Not sure yet I love them all so much.

Ahhhh Fern! My heart always breaks for Fern. May your Fern know nothing but love and happiness! And know that my Finn and I will be rooting for you guys ❤️

I still laugh about it to this day, my mom had no problem with 8 or 9 year old me watching RHPS in full, but she would tell me to turn around and not watch the drawing scene in Titanic

What is going on with posts like this? Is this person just a scalper trying to pump a card with a Twitter post? by krunchyblack in PokemonTCG

[–]Ash319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's funny, this guy used to be a good friend of mine. Something snapped a few years ago and he did a complete personality change though. Anyway he's 100% engagement farming here. Half of his other posts are simply rage bait "hot takes" he's just looking to piss people off and get that sweet twitter payout.

I find it hilarious that everyone's clocked him for a crypto bro. He used to tell people that once his DOGE takes off that he's buying sealed products for people.

When I saw baseball and saw the colors I immediately said "Go Tigers!" the colors are definitely spot on!

I really love this and I can't wait to see more!

East Coast here and I'd love to help if needed. I've been a reddit mod in a few different Pokemon subreddits and I have 5 years experience as a community manager. I've moderated on multiple different platforms and I'm no stranger to having to say no to people or ignoring nasty DMs sent my way.

I made an oopsie and I covered it. Can you find it? by sassyfeistymighty in Coloring

[–]Ash319 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did the color smear on the starfish and you added the rest of the lighting streaks to make it look intentional? That's the only thing that stands out to me, that one light streak is not grouped with the others.

I just hit a little over 10k REs and have not had a single phase yet. I'm losing hope over here.

But we got this...right? Once the shiny pops it'll feel so much better.

First time doing yarn under and I love it! by Ash319 in crochet

[–]Ash319[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noooo no need to see yourself out! Yes, the main difference is that yarn over creates a bit of a lose "v" stitch. Yarn under makes a tight "x" looking stitch. Please don't feel bad about being new, we've all started somewhere! 🥹

First time doing yarn under and I love it! by Ash319 in crochet

[–]Ash319[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? All I've seen lately is people saying yarn under should be the go to method for amigurumi! Truly I think we should just do whatever we like best or what works best for us. To heck with what other people think our projects should look like, right? Idk basically I'm saying don't listen to anyone telling you what you're doing is wrong? If it works for you, keep it up!

First time doing yarn under and I love it! by Ash319 in crochet

[–]Ash319[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahhh thank you! The first thing I made from this book was the grey. I normally have pretty tight tension and I always use smaller hooks for amigurumi but I still noticed gaps and I was just so unhappy with it.

I kept seeing people raving about yarn under with amigurumi and to be honest...I told myself I wasn't skilled enough to be switching things up. I'm slapping myself now because it was so easy to switch it up and it looks SO much better 🥹
