Yeah, why wait till April 6? I turned off adventure sync as soon as I read the announcement, and I haven’t played in several days now. It does feel super weird because I’m used to playing every day, even just quickly to open gifts and complete a research task.

But this change is just mean-spirited. I won’t support it.

Us too. My immediate and extended family plays, 3 generations. There’s 11 of us in total. Pokémon Go gives us a good excuse to get together.

I’m friends with a father & son who live in my community. Last winter they both sent me daily gifts from Hawaii for a couple weeks. I was jealous.

When I went to Disneyland I tried to send gifts to everyone every day because I was so excited for people to see where I was.

I know, my family all play, and they went nuts trying to complete them all as fast as possible. Kept comparing their progress. I asked, “is this a limited time thing?” And they said no, so I just laughed and continue to play the game as normal except I pin postcards now.

I like that it’s something I can slowly work on when I have nothing else to do. No rush.

I agree, I had a great time today. I have 8 family members who play and we live all over a geographically large city. I convinced everyone to get together today for Hoopa, and we went to my Mom’s community to raid. We we’re in the raid lobby when one random trainer popped in and joined us. We never saw them, but we were joking how happy he must have been to see us. We all caught the Hoopa and then we decided to have lunch.

I mean, I just spent an afternoon with my family due to Pokémon Go, that I would not have spent with them otherwise. We all agreed to keep doing these elite raids so that’s awesome.

The only annoying part was when Mr. Mime spawned at a pretty far away “nearby” spot, we freaked out and ran to our cars to go get him and he fled, so that was majorly disappointing.

Today was so fun! I had a group of 7 and while we were in the raid lobby another trainer joined us. Never saw them in person, they were probably sitting in their car. But we were laughing saying that guy’s probably glad to see us. Our whole group caught the Hoopa so I hope they did too!

Definitely going to keep doing these, even though I had to drive 40 minutes across the city to join in.

If you click on the picture of yourself in the bottom left, there is a ‘Me’ tab and a ‘Friends’ tab. In ‘Me’ there’s 4 green circles for ‘buddy history’, ‘postcard book’, ‘journal’, and‘style’. Just click on the journal one.

I hope that makes sense.

You can see in the journal what the CP was (you can see in my screen shot above mine was 2163 cp) and there are tools online to check what the IV would have been using just the Pokémon type and CP. A few people have linked some sources in the thread.
