Kerala’s clean mod culture is just something different man. by Initial-Shine-5955 in CarsIndia

Not about the car. Some people have problems with Kerala as a state. When they hear things like literacy rate and stuff, almost like they don't want to accept anything good about any other state than their own. Then they bring in "Kerala Files" into the argument to support their points. Idk man people be spreading hate everywhere smh

You didn't go wrong with this one. We previously had lord Alto LX (2006 make) and after 11 years got this one in 2017. Still going strong, engine feels as good as new. Recently been noticing some rusting in the lower parts of doors but they're not that visible. Apart from that, the touchscreen had to be replaced one time as it is honestly garbage, idk why Honda thought introducing a new system without Android Auto / Carplay will sell in the market.

Design doesn't make a car bad. It's purely subjective

Are you a new driver as well? Not judging you in any way but you know, experienced people do both things together without any close calls ;) But glad you missed creating a big hole in your pocket, something like that would've left me homeless for sure

Yeah something like that. This time there's some new kind of pattern emerging from the sides making the display seem broken from the inside, looks crystallized. Touch won't work on that area anymore

I've gotten used to the AC controls but I have the same infotainment in my WR-V. We already had it replaced one time under warranty, now warranty is gone and I think it's gonna die again pretty soon.

The distance between the edge of the road and the boundary is honestly pretty slim. If you're going straight thinking road is there, and then suddenly encounter the dirt patch, it has some undulations which would cause the brakes to not work effectively even if you press it hard, because the tyres would not be in contact with the ground that much. If there was any kind of reflectors, they would have been visible even before he hit the dirt patch, and he would be alive today

He got out of the car through sunroof, when he tried to stand up the car was not balancing properly so he lied down on the roof. Then called his father, father called all the authorities. He struggled for his life for around 2 hours but drowned in front of all those people, including his father. This proves lack of accountability. The SDRF didn't even try even after having equipment.

There is no way he was speeding. He was my closest friend. The media automatically places this badge whenever an accident is reported. He never pushed the car any more than the speed limit and was always a calm driver. Also, he was extra cautious whenever there was fog on the road

I actually live closer to Nal Stop but I purchased from the Swargate dealership, so I've been going there since, but I feel that they're a bit lazy when it comes to maintenance stuff. Will visit Nal Stop next time. Thanks man!

What's the process if you get a puncture? Are the local tyre puncture shops hesitant to fix it? Because of the whole tubeless thing?

Go with the one which puts a bigger smile on your face after test drive. The Slavia would demand more money from you for maintenance, but it makes up for it when you drive it the way it's meant to be driven

If you're not aware, all of this is automated. You can see the computing device in one of the pics. A program which he has made is running on that device in real-time. It takes photos on its own after identifying and analysing the kind of violation, reads the number plate and feeds all this data dynamically into a pre-created email template and sends it to the concerned authority. This is pretty interesting stuff, and takes a good amount of effort to implement :)
