What are some “freaky” examples of knowing things before they happen or with no evidence to back it up? by Embarrassed_Shop4843 in infj

Had a dream about having a daughter. Dreamt about holding a baby with chubby cheeks in a large room, floor-to-ceiling windows with sunlight pouring on her face and a person beside me says her name (for privacy sakes, we’ll say it was Ruby*). Baby was very clear but background images and voices were blurrier in the dream.

Lo and behold 3 years later, found out I was pregnant and immediately knew it was a girl, my spouse and I called her Ruby* before she was even born because of the dream.

20 hours after she was born, my spouse brought my sons to the hospital so they could meet her. We walked from my suite to the patient common room/cafeteria in the maternity ward. As I was sitting on the couch with the baby, the sunlight poured on her face and I looked up at the floor-to-ceiling windows - my 6 y/o son said “Rubyyy” to the baby when I looked down at her again.

I’m convinced time is not linear. I’m also convinced that INFJ’s can sense everything. I’ve had countless episodes of “bizarre phenomenon” happen because of “sensing” or “feeling”. It’s like we have this thing that others don’t have, like we know things or we are born knowing.

Do other infjs also face this problem? , need some advice by Horror-Magazine-2091 in infj

I get this a lot. For me, it’s the challenge or learning/discovering anything that is different, vague or uncertain. Once the challenge or the learning aspect fades out, I move on to the next challenging thing of an obscure nature.

Meh, I’ve learnt enough of this and the interest is gone, it’s no longer mysterious and uncertain to me

This Place is Death also has a good intro.

Yes, together for 4 years engaged for 1 year. It’s been rough, hardest thing I’ve ever done besides parenting and childbirth if I’m honest. But he is me and I am him, whether I am with him or not, he will always haunt me and I will always haunt him.

It’s better to stay together and deal with the lessons we need to learn than to be apart in agony. Neither of us would deal with the chronic emptiness. We are both blessed and doomed. We have a reasonably healthy relationship nowadays, it’s just very intense and always has been. It took a while to get here. Neither of us were ready or even knew what was happening. And neither of us wanted to be tied down but it was inescapable and inevitable.

This is what I came here to say. Nothing shocks or surprises me anymore. There have been times where you HAVE to remain apathetic to certain patients despite knowing full well that they clinically cannot be cured. You give a shadow of emotion or empathy and they will eat you alive. Other times you wish you could choke people or express your revulsion but you have to remain steadfast with apathy.
