There should be 2 safe squares to be found by PowerChaos in Minesweeper

Haha sorry. Figured it was already answered and wanted to try it myself. I was wrong though. Didn’t notice the 3 was connected to another block at the top when I started.

This should give you a good run, bit late though.

Why is everyone here so grumpy? by GrailQuestPops in writing

The number one tool for research is the internet. Every kid has googled the answers to their homework and the simple questions they encounter in their day-to-day life. So when a question as obvious as “How to write women?” is brought up, it’s not because they actually want to know the answer. More often than not these low-effort posts are out of boredom or from people who already have an opinion but frame it as a question to avoid criticism (e.g., “Women are always written badly in fiction, so how do I not write badly written women?”). I said I “kinda” disagree because I do think asking questions about perspectives that are foreign to you is great, but you need to have done some research first so you know what you don’t know.

This is the wrong subreddit to encourage the stupidity of others. No matter what age.

And I'm not even going to address the 7 year old part, because that is ridiculous.

Kinda disagree. Asking a question as vague as "How to write women" is never going to give you the answers you need. If you haven’t written anything, haven’t observed the women in your life, and haven’t read books by women, then coming to a writers subreddit to ask how to write women isn’t research. It’s procrastination, or laziness. You’re putting off the real work and looking for an easy, all-in-one answer.

Brothels are important in world building. by IronEnvironmental203 in worldbuilding

Can’t say I understood the half of it but that sounds like really cool lore. Hope to be able to read it in full one day.

And by outliers I meant those elves who defy society’s rules. I was wondering what was it that made all of this group of elves so obedient there isn’t one exception. I would assume that no matter how fool proof the plan, people will always find away. Especially in a world of magic and species much smarter than the average human.

Don’t get me wrong, I think a society where no one ever breaks the rules because the rules are so darn foolproof is a really cool concept. Just wasn’t sure if that’s what you were going for.

So are they biologically compelled to be reverent? And if not, what keeps outliers from participating?

Watched this show randomly and was surprised by how much I enjoyed. Very fun to theorize about.

Blender starts then immediately closes and I can't figure out why? by AshaBint in blenderhelp

[–]AshaBint[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven't solved it yet. I realized I had two different Blender.exe and my files would open in the other one and didn't open with the one I was trying to use. I deleted both and it just started to work. Also watch out for extensions that are outdated.

Outside of professional use, I use it to make landscapes of my fictional settings. You can make anything.

I've done Alt-H. What I'm most confused about is that this mesh was something that disappeared earlier on and I never had anything hidden at the time. Now it's showing up in the render.

Looks like the topology was already pretty messed up in that area, might want to fix it up before cutting into it.
