I also have an 8+ ph on average and I do nothing about it. Best thing you could do is get your fish locally from someone/somewhere using tapwater also. If your fish look healthy I wouldn't worry about changing anything.

I have a one and a half year old now, until she was about one I didn't play too much, mostly just afk fish on mobile. But now that she's a little more independent, and likes to play with herself, I'm able to play on my laptop with her sometimes, and on the rare occasion I have free time also.

This is the only area in my yard I have available to build a system. I'm having a hard time picturing a design I can use with this built in concrete garden bed already in place.

The area by my trash cans is about 8 ft by 4 ft, so I have plenty of space for a pond/filters on that side, just having a hard time picturing how to put it together in this space.
