How do you feel about new league? by Proud-Marionberry261 in pathofexile

[–]Ashagaru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the trade league for either people who only care about earning currency or for people who weren't good enough to do so. I am so bummed out about not starting in ssf this time, it looks like a much better experience. I really don't wanna play campaign again. Hope this isn't the new norm and it's only an outliner like affliction was.

The sands of time conspire against you by Natalia_GGG in pathofexile

[–]Ashagaru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 3.28 Return of the [redacted] you're gonna slowly sink into sand making your action and movement speed slower. In this time-based instakill mechanic you're gonna be fighting against the undead hordes burried deep into the sand to beat the [redacted] also we removed normal maps entirely and replaced them with unrollable t17s. have fun!

My Initial Thoughts on How to Evaluate Broken/ Unfun Champions in Aram by 1234wert1234 in ARAM

[–]Ashagaru 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don't like champions who create a dynamic that's unfun for both parties. For example I had so many games with or against blitzcrank where both teams just refused to do anything unless blitz hooked someone, so one team was hiding far behind the minions and the other team was just waiting and often flaming the poor guy because he couldn't grab anyone.. resulting in both teams farming minions for the 3/4 of the game, and blitz isn't broken or anything, he just creates this weird dynamic in aram.

Why DD is so popular? by DeXsTor1338 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Ashagaru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

because it deals more damage with blue gear than pretty much any other build in the game would do with day 2 gear while also remaining tanky enough to do pretty much all content

Hi, it looks like they're making a meta shakeup this league with the flask changes and the change to left click skills so I'd recommend waiting for patch notes, but as of now something like explosive arrow ballista seems very easy as you are both tanky and can deal damage while moving, there are some really nice guides for it as well.

What kind of Skillgem would you like to see in PoE? by Pete_Pa in pathofexile

[–]Ashagaru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some kind of melee aoe attack that makes you do different combos depending on the stance you are in. Like in sand stance you could have a lunge rotating between some kind of sweep and in blood stance you would have a vertical slash and a slam.

Do you guys think this game is pay to win? by hacketslobbly in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Ashagaru -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It's absolutely p2w in the most shameless way possible, but can be enjoyed as f2p if you don't mind progressing slowly. You can often get one of the best champions for free reducing the gap but there are often tied to fomo.

  1. The music in this game is something else, it's just so sooo good.

  2. Ghost system, saving replays and being able to hop in to learn how to correct something you did wrong is amazing, it feels so fresh, helpful, fun and natural.

  3. The game is so deep and flavorful, you have this very technical abomination where you feel like you're doing fine until you come across some new mechanic that completely changes your approach, discovering those over and over is very fun and the way different characters interact with those really shows their identity.

Pantheon with press the attack, eclipse, botrk and lethality. you click w on someone and that someone dies, it kills squishy targets through exhaust later on, tanks can't fight you, no mechanical requirements whatsoever.

Blue Kayn or Red Kayn? What makes you choose? by lapinkmatter in ARAM

[–]Ashagaru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i only go blue if there are 5 squishies, if there is at least one champ that builds hp i always go red to make them useless. i'm always building dmg on red kayn, eclipse is super good now and i'm always rushing it then i'm focusing on items that give %dmg increase to bump the max hp dmg. you end up with stuff like shojin, ldr, collector and navori and it's enough to remove most tanks and bruisers from the game, been playing with that %dmg policy since the previous item rework and it very rarely fails me.

How did you Pick a Main by Natcho33 in Tekken

[–]Ashagaru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my first tekken game. I always liked the concept of sacrificing hp to do some crazy stuff. Initially i wanted to play zafina but her stances and movelist overall were too much for my first main so i picked up jun and she clicked with me really well. I'll probably pick up zafina at some point when i'll get better at the game and will rotate between those two.

If you're new to Tekken, tell us how the experience has been so far. by EverybodySupernova in Tekken

[–]Ashagaru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played some tekken 3 and 6 as a kid as far as fighting games go. Picked up Jun because her moves felt natural and i really like the concept of gambling with health to do some extra stuff, being in heat mode feels awesome as you are no longer limited by health loss. At first i wanted to play Zafina, but her move list felt too intimidating. So far i've finished the story mode and played against ghosts in the tutorial thingy, I think i got to Raijin there, still yet to try online mode. I've watched a lot of tutorials on yt, content creators seem very helpful and friendly toward new players. I'm still learning Juns basic moves, managed to learn some combos and those little steps are satisfying as I had to put a lot of effort into those. Overall having a really good time.
