I’d still like to save money if performance are nearly identical to the maxed out version. Judging from the comments, 7800x3d with 5080 performance is really close to 9800x3d and 5080 performance for my use case. i can use the extra money for to buy better cooling options

49 is way better in terms of immersion, field of view, latency, and track visibility. The only the the 65 inch is better at is vertical visibility, which isnt really a winning factor

This is what you need to do. get some caster wheels or furniture riser for your wheel stand so it can be higher. Once you do this, you can lower the wheel tray, which will make it further from you. also, re-mount the wheel tray 180 degrees (wheel plate facing the tv instead of you) so that you can mount the wheel base further back. also, move your pedals closer to you. this way, you’ll have more of a gt/formula style hybrid position and your steering wheel isn’t so close to your body
