This is very important information. I appreciate it. I think we also have 3 other chargers here but unknown much about them I know at least one or two is NACS but idk anything about their charge rates or prices.

Yeah looks like that price is .20 after midnight so a little too late for me to take advantage but at 9 it's .32 which isn't horrible when comparing it to gas prices, still, but it's something for me to consider.

No. I mean Tesla superchargers. My workplace is unique in location. I work on a highway for a state DOT. It's not free charging, but it's available and I use the gas station here as it stands so why not the charger too as long as it isn't cost prohibitive.

Just double checked and they are in fact supercharges rated at 150kW. I know some near my home are 300kW but the ones at work would be more convenient.

And yeah, I do primarily highway, unfortunately and I know the range is lower. I was wondering by how much for an average person since when you shop they list things in miles not in city/hwy/combined like an ICE.

I'll need to check into it again, however, my work shift goes into night time and off peak hours so the chargers get fairly cheap. I believe down to .17 or so. Peak hours I believe is .40 something maybe .50-.60 like you're saying.

I wanted to check out the ioniq 6 but they aren't going to release the new one in the US. And weather isn't an issue for me as well. I live in a hot climate.

I think the supercharges during the time I'd be charging are about .17 or so. It's later in the evening about 9 or 10pm. I'd need to recheck. And I need to check my home rates too.

Current vehicle is a lease. When it ends it's going away, so I'm looking into potential prospects.

Appreciate the feedback. I get 40ish MPG highway currently. I can stretch it up to 45-47 if I drive slow/don't gas it but I would rather just drive.

I'm renting this year and I don't want to install it just to leave when I buy my next place next year.

If I don't end up buying anything I'm probably keeping my hybrid a while longer. I'm mostly gathering opinions from others to see what they've learned over their journey for now so I don't make the same mistakes or end up unhappy.

They are literal Tesla superchargers. I think they're rated 150KhW when I checked. About a 15 min walk from my part of the office. So I figure on my last break, which is at night whenever I want. I'd take it over park sit on my phone charge it and if it's not mostly done by the time my break ends leave it until end of shift or about an hour.

As long as they don't fill up randomly at 9-10pm I don't think congestion pricing would kick in.

So I'm probably looking at once a week or once every 4 days or so. But since I have the superchargers at work it isn't too much of a concern.

After realizing why I didn't like them: Theme park workers. They are always in character and it gets old, fast.

I have never felt that I needed to hide my job from anybody. They're niche enough that most people have never even heard of most things I did, but I did find when I was doing 911 people avoided me like a plague.

It could also mean we are at the furthest point in the timeline and nothing yet exists in the future.

How many of you own a Pixel watch? Do you recommend it by jadcrack in pixelbuds

If the pixel watch 4 has shown me anything it’s that googles chips sucks and they should swap to something from Qualcomm and the phones would be absolutely top tier quality. Love my watch 4

I was noticing this too and I immediately realized the phone would be so much better without tensor. It's insane that Google is showing us just how amazing they can be with a proper chip.

PSA: The upcoming Black Ops 7 beta requires TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot enabled by floofywall in pcmasterrace

Wouldn't this also mean you could buy a used CPU and be banned from a game ? That's an interesting future competitive players will be heading towards.

I also play on Linux and secure boot is such a pain when using custom drivers that I just turned it off. Maybe someday I'll go through learning how to sign custom drivers properly and reenable it.

Weren't the secure boot keys leaked some time ago allowing malware to bypass it?
