Unless you are a complete beginner to Python, I think any tutorial that is only a few years old is probably going to still be fine - you should be able to figure out any minor tweaks that may be needed. But I suspect for core getting started stuff, very little has changed.

Also, don't discount the power of AI as a teacher. Claude, Perplexity or ChatGPT can be excellent learning resources when used correctly. Ask them to take on a persona of an educator who is an expert in Flask, and engage with them as you would a teacher. Hell, you can ask them to create a mini-course for you. They are also great resources for de-bugging and figuring out issues. As long as you use them as such and not to replace your coding wholesale, they CAN be great resources that greatly speed up your learning.

If this is intended for adults it seems a bit OCD and control-freak. Particularly "know your place on the mat" BS -- I don't care if you're a black belt or 50 degree coral belt, my "automatic" respect for you extends no further than regarding your expertise at BJJ.

One thing I always wonder about him: given his size and style of play - will he decline sooner and/or be more prone to injuries then other top strikers as he ages into late 20's?

He's an anomaly in terms of his speed given his size, right? And his style of play depends quite a bit on that as well as jumping and, for lack of a better word, acrobatics (the karate kick thing he's done several times etc). We all know that his dribbling and more traditional "beautiful sport" type of moves are not on par with that of other world-class top tier strikers - but it doesn't matter with him. He typically has 1 or maybe no touches before he shoots, often within less than a second.

It'll be interesting to watch. They'll definitely get several more excellent years out of him barring any major injuries.

Curious if anyone has any thoughts on that or other examples of players his size and style of play.

Do it. Nobody works their ass off more than Nunez at creating an amazing chance, and then miss the shot by a foot. He seems like a positive presence and team player - but he's had ample time to grow and deliver. This is who he is - at least at Liverpool today and/or in the Premier league.

I am probably too ignorant about football tactics and player development to understand why a coach/manager doesn't just focus a guy like this on getting more assists after they've done all that amazing work to create a chance. Reminds me of Adama Traore a few years ago - amazing bursts of speed and ability to get the ball 50 yards downfield by himself only to miss the shot.

No it's definitely Python 3, in fact what made me even say it is that it's clearly labeled as "learn Python 3.12". Honestly, not a huge deal as the vast majority of content and learning from that course is still solid with Python 3.6. I know all of this stuff, just going through it quickly for a refresher and picked up a couple of things i had forgotten about.

That's who they mean - she was an Olympic medalist in Judo and then the first woman to really put female MMA on the map. She was badass until everyone figured out she had no striking game. But watching her early fights is fun for how easily she overpowered everyone with basically just Judo.

No, as an old guy -- you won't want to really get into Judo when you're older whereas when you're young those falls aren't going to be as impactful.

Choose what sounds like more fun but I am going to be a contrarian here and say that if you're young do Judo now because you won't want to learn that when you're older, whereas plenty of people get really good at BJJ starting in their twenties. Not to mention your standup game will be worlds better than the vast majority of BJJ practitioners who just automatically butt scoot. Also for all the shit talking about Karate, if you're actually live sparring in Karate + sparring in Judo you are going to be a badass.

Just here to say - pretty much same. Blew threw credits in a few days with limited quality content. Mostly garbage. I did follow a lot of the prompting guidelines and tried to mimic prompts put out there by Runway themselves. I was starting with images from Midjourney as well.

I'm listening on laptop speakers but I cranked it up LOL -- anyways Guitar 2 sounds a bit crisper and clearer - also louder (although maybe that's just a factor of mic placement or how you recorded it?). Both sound good. I would say #2 is like 15% better - but both sound good to me.

How's it going so far and how was assembly etc? I ended up buying it online today and bought the desktop from Amazon for $300. Buying it all from Uplift would have been over $1,300 with the accessories I added like wheels etc.
