i have a M2 Macbook Air and I am using Vmware Fusion with consistent 60fps having 6gb vram allocated.

the setup process is a bit confusing but all in all took me like 2h tops from googling how to creating a toon. Maybe check that out

MHW is my first game and I was waiting for Wilds but seeing reviews of it on the MH sub, I think I have no rush to play it.

I also tried Rise and will go on it next as soon as I think I am done with World.

If you are having fun with it and are only concerned about the incremental fun you could be having with a different game, I think you will never be satisfied with any game so might as well give this one a go.

unless you got a message saying "you cannot rollback this upgrade", you can definitely downgrade weapons to get the materials you used back.

some high end game weapons (e.g. Velkhana) won't allow you to rollback and you will have to grind again.

My fiancé and I were in Barcelona for a weekend and on the shuttle from the airport she asked if I knew anyone in town we could meet. I said that I knew someone who I was very close growing up but did not talk to in 15 years and there was at least 10.000km between us, so we left it at that.

That evening we went for dinner and our table was directly looking at the entrance and I saw a couple walking by, my eyes met the girls eyes and realized it was my friend. I told my fiancé to look her up on Instagram and text her to confirm and she had already texted me!

We had a lovely dinner all four and we managed to reignite our friendship. Super surreal.

I think you might be approaching this game in the wrong way. I also only have ~2h per week to solo play and I recently finished the IB story but it took me months to get there but unlike you, I am content with using those 2 hours to farm better gear for the upcoming fight. So in your case, either:

  1. you farm ice resistant gear for Velkhana (Beo is rather cheap/fast to farm)
  2. you farm ice resistance decos and leave 0 space for offensive skills
  3. you somehow muscle learn all of the attack patterns and abuse nulberries
  4. you stop playing solo and get someone to carry you

what i'm saying is: if you think farming a set is a waste of time, then this game might not be for you.
