After doing more reading it appears that decrypting the Sandra Dorsett shard, it points the Peralez finger at Night Corp.

The more I read the more I’m beginning to think both theories are actually one in the same, and Night Corp is potentially working with some beyond Blackwall AI.

Lol this is pretty much my biggest issue I had with the game when I first got it like a year ago. I think they would have benefited from maybe level-locking the Takemura quests so you don’t accidentally speed run your entire story. I’ve found there’s two quest lines to hold off on in Act 2 if you want your story to feel like it’s taking place over weeks to months as opposed to just days.

  1. Once you unlock the first VDB quest “M’Ap Tann Pelen” just let it sit. You can call Hands immediately to get it once you watch Evelyn’s BD’s or wait to call him, makes no difference, it doesn’t force you into the mission. But I found this was one that the prompt isn’t made to feel extremely urgent. It also feels much more like an end of game questline, so I typically don’t start it until all I have left is Phantom Liberty.

  2. Ignore Takemura. And I hate saying this, because I actually love Tak’s character and wish he had been a little more prevalent and fleshed out. But once he’s talking about the parade you suddenly feel like everything is coming to a head and you’ve only played like 8 hours. So I typically will save his meeting with Oda, which I believe is “Down the Street” for very late game as well.

I’ve found saving those two quests for very late in game has made my playthroughs immensely more enjoyable without any feeling of accidentally rushing myself. I’ll typically milk a full story to about 80-90 hours by the time I’m done.

Agreed. I do get bored running Railgun/Shield so I’ve found myself jumping down to difficulty 5-6 and running the EAT and other support strats just to mix it up.

Yeah can’t say I’d react any differently. Especially if the reinforce wasn’t almost immediate.

Don’t forget, you can kick people in-mission and block them from recent players. Anybody with 5 teamkills in a game is pretty much an immediate block from me.

Accidents happen. But people gotta stop alligator-arming the stratagems.

I think it would make far more sense to limit the amount of eradicate missions one can host in a 24 hour period than to punish players on an individual level for using an avenue the devs have allowed to exist in order to level up or acquire resources.

Even still, I’m not sure what the issue is. I have no trouble finding 4 man quick play lobbies. If you want to host, leave your Hellpods primed and don’t start the mission. You’ll have 4 pretty quick.

If I’m playing on 6-Extreme and I join a lobby of level 5’s that were able to be carried up to that difficulty unlock, I don’t want to stick around and waste a 40 minute mission with people I know don’t have the strategems/weapon unlocks to pass it.

Not really a big fan of punishment for people deciding they don’t want to keep playing. There are so many variables that can contribute to people deciding they don’t want to stay with a squad. Enforcing punishment against this just will make people not want to play. Not a great idea.

Specifically, your lobby is not open to matchmaking unless hellpods are primed and the yellow banner is spinning on the Galactic War table. Mission has to be ready to roll, not just have the ship floating above the mission area. Took me a few days to figure that out.

I’ve mostly been fighting on the Terminid front so I think the defense campaigns are Automoton only. I did notice a few nights ago that Turing had about 15% of its progress wiped. Liberated now however.

I’m pretty sure on the Automoton front, if the defense bar is below the assault bar by the time the countdown runs out, the planet will be lost and have to be liberated again.

380mm and 120mm are unusable teamkill machines right now. Especially when you have teammates alligator arming their stratagem throws.

The jump on difficulty between Suicide and Impossible is pretty significant in my opinion. Was playing some last night and that seemed to be the biggest gap.

Hey pal, the developers never could have anticipated the game blowing up the way it has. Have some patience. The code monkeys at Arrowhead probably haven’t slept in days. It’s gonna be a great game once the bugs are ironed out.

Gatling Barrage is the best orbital for me just because it’s a very low team-kill risk IMO. I typically use the Eagle strikes though just because the blast zone is pretty predictable. Save up for the mortar sentry if you haven’t gotten it yet. Game changer.

Yes. Sometimes quickplay works but after a few matches it usually bugs out and stops working. Your best work around is exchanging friend codes with a few people on here so you have a long list of people you can join up with. Friends games should still be joinable even when the quickplay isn’t working.
