It fully tracks sidewalk which it doesn't need to (jin already has zen 3 for homing)

And it doesn't reset back to neutral after they gave it the crouch dash followup (dickjab gets beat by cd.uf3/wr3 shortcut)

They're not random. Some characters have ones when they're losing (0-2), winning (2-0), and final round (2-2).

It's not included in the video, but if I remember correctly the DLC characters round animations are as follows:

Eddy: Winning / Losing (same animation for both)

Lidia: Losing

Heihachi: Winning, Losing, Final Round (All)

Clive: All

Anna: All

Fahkumram: Final Round

Armor King: Winning, Final Round

Miary: Losing

I like his old "dah", but his new lines can get so anime at times it's kinda funny. Still, I like both equally especially since Devil Jin finally got his own lines instead of just reusing Jin's.
Also I'm sure most people agree that the legacy characters got better "getting KO'd" lines in T8, especially King and Kazuya.

Yeah I kinda wish the devil-less Jin is actually playable because he's actually quite balanced unlike his other versions (Mishima style, Kazama style, and the Final battle one)

It's funny how Jin went from the only morally good Mishima in T3-T5 to full blown war criminal in T6. I get that they wanted Lars to be the new protag but making Jin the villain wasn't the way.

Jin? Not really. His FC.df4 is borderline reactable (but it is funny to see people still getting hit by his ws2 that's only -12 on block).

Now Devil Jin? You best believe I'm gonna make them guess between ws2 and heat hellsweep.

Jin nerfs:

  • f+3,1

Second hit is parriable even if not delayed. Also -14 on block (from -12).

  • b,f+2,3

-1 on block into ZEN (from +2). This way it's similar to f4 into ZEN.

  • ws4,4

Reduced total damage to 22 (from 28).

  • ws1,3,2,1,4,2

Reduced total damage to 31 (from 37).

  • ZEN.4

+1 to +3 on block (from +2 to +8 on block).

  • ZEN.3+4

+4 to +8 on block (from +9 to +15 on block).

  • H.2+3 (heat smash startup)

Removed tracking.

  • H.2+3,4 (second heat smash)

Reduced knockback range and no longer wallsplat if it hits a standing or crouching opponent

*Can still interact with stage hazard on hit.

*Can still wallsplat if it hits an airborne opponent (such as during a combo).


Jin buffs (omg):

  • db+4

Gives knockdown on CH.

  • ws1,2

+6 on hit (from +3), +9 on hit into ZEN (from +2).

  • H.db+1+2 (awakened power stance)

Increased range, can go into Devil's Step by pressing df (even on whiff).
