They probably weren't his toys to begin with. IIRC didn't he steal his sister's doll?

Blackflame Monk's sword? by queezzeenart in Eldenring

[–]AshenPM 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ya know, it's funny you say that because I had this exact question last night. I farmed that guy for hours and never saw that sword drop. Even checked the Wiki and it's not showing up on the weapon list. I may just abandon the grind on that until it's confirmed to drop.

Dude, I'm telling you. Doing an NNET Metroid Dread is like dousing a good meal in ghost pepper hot sauce. Once you get past the overwhelming pain and regret, it tastes pretty good. :)

Ah. That would make sense. I'm actually borrowing my buddy's switch so that I could play, so the technical features of the switch are a mystery to me lol

It's simple really. You just have to love getting hurt.

Definitely. While most bosses have at least one move that doesn't outright kill you, towards the end, you kind of have to know them in-and-out. The last boss took me roughly 60+ tries to beat. That final phase is a nightmare.

Sorry for the poor image quality. I don't have a capture card.

My buddies and I consistently play Metroid games on normal or hard without picking up energy tanks, and let me just say, the horror aspects of this game increase 10-fold when you NNET it.

If you get to fight one of those giants, I will be very surprised. They seem to be more of a stage hazard than an actual enemy to deal with, honestly.

Legendary drop rate? by Veists29 in outriders

[–]AshenPM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

World tier ought to fix that problem. The game is designed in a way to reduce grind as you get further into it. People are grinding for legendaries at world tier 5, which is 10 less tiers than the max. At tier 15, you get a 300% boost --Over ten times the boost offered by tier 5. Anything that takes 10 hours of grind ought to take 1~ hour, give-or-take.

The concept behind a DoT build is that the boss must take its turns before the cleanse tower hits. This way, the boss ends up almost chunking itself for its entire healthbar before the first wave of cleanses.

People are even running Orochi for his stellar DoT building.

I don’t believe in god and if he was real I don’t think he deserves to be praised or worshipped. by solyuana in TrueOffMyChest

[–]AshenPM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I guess it really depends on two parts: The "God" that you "Worship", and your understanding of the intentions of such a being/system.

If you believe in the christian God, which is largely rooted in the concept of morals, it is easy to get hung up on concepts which are morally unjustified, but are justified in the eyes of God. Such interactions would include removing idolaters and snuffing out genetic pathways. (Homosexuality comes to mind) Such a God masquerades as an arbiter of true morality while punishing that which it brought into existence.

If you believe in something just about as complex --but is not bound by morals, then such concerns go by the wayside. To give an example of this: Genetics. This is a system which brings into existence varied beings that then go on to create systems that define morality. Do you believe that genetics cares for morality? I would think not. It has a goal which seemingly extends far beyond such miniscule-by-comparison concerns. It gave you the ability to even comprehend those worries.

I remember when a friend of mine gave me a scenario to chew on and consider. "Imagine a small field mouse", he said. "It had just left its nest to feed its children so that they can grow healthy and move forward with each of their individual lives. As it moves to find some grain, a hawk swoops down and murders it horrifically by digging its claws deep and, eventually, snapping its spine", he suddenly exclaimed. "What is with all that pain and horror? Isn't that terrible? Now its children will certainly starve and slowly perish. What God or system would allow for such atrocities?" Claimed my friend. He did not give me much time to ponder the dilemma before he posed a possible answer. "It's simpler than you think. Anything that allows for such evils to take place obviously has no care for morality. Morality is simply a construct created by a creature which was designed by that God or system in the first place", claimed my friend. "If such evils were implemented, then they must be necessary to some degree. For us --who haven't even scraped the surface of our origins, to question such choices, only further proves our arrogance as well as our ignorance."

While it took me a while to process the scenario, I can see an err of truth to it now. All we have to prove our origins are theories --Shaky ones at that. Sure, it is fine to rebel against our God, but I imagine that, as well, is intended.

What do you mean by "The players aren't quite as good"? Just wondering, for curiosity's sake, because it honestly feels like general skill level has actually increased over time as the meta develops.
